Y'all be coming in and telling me you got BBCode figured in a week, and then I look at my own track record... And almost wanna cry crocodile tears of BBCoding sorrow. It took me 3 years of tinkering to get sorta good and then make a tutorial. And that wasn't even that good until all our contributors started dropping in.

Don't feel bad! o: It's a good thing, if you think about it! cx It means that you've taken all of the experience that you have, and all that time, and managed to put it into such an amazing tutorial that people are able to catch on and understand so quickly and easily! c: It's amazing, and I can't even begin to thank you enough for creating this~ <3

x3 when I first came to CS this thread hadn't existed yet and i wasnt good with forums but i ended up teaching myself and now look at me c:

um i've been considering making a tutorial for simple effects like the ones in my current
signature, but haha, i'm not sure if it's really required, because tinkering with filters and
common sense is really all you need to do that, plus i'm really lazy whoops screenshots are a pain

It took me maybe.... 6 months before I could actually code. And even then, I still refused to code because it was a pain in the rear and I was one for digital manipulation.

I say always continue, even if you do not like it. It helps you develop what you think is a good signature and what you think is not a good signature.

Personally, I adore a black, orange and yellow colour scheme to the point it could be said it is a guilty pleasure of mine.
