"Good," she said and sighed in relief and reached for her locket her father bought her when he was still alive. Grasping the dagger, she looked at Marco. "Thank you. For everything."

"How about with me, then?" Olivia asked. "I could use a first mate, and you're one of the most capable people I've seen in a long time."

Marco thought for the moment "What are your strengths?" He asked her and took another bite out of the apple. With his free hand he fixed his pocket watch back into his chest pocket.

Jian nodded "It's fine." He said smiling softly. Auto slowly began to drift off when he laid his head down on his legs. and closed his eyes drifting off. Jian crossed his legs and looked over when a maid brought over some treats. A silver tray had tiny cookies and two glasses of tea on them.

Nilin shook her head and smirked "So how would you know that?" she asked her and let her arms dangle to the side. How would she know something like that, Nilin then thought that maybe this woman could have been following her.

Chris nodded and put his hands in his pockets. He looked over at some people who were walking by then back at her "I understand that." He said remembering how hard it was to keep him and Nilin safe but when he was on his own when she got older at times he was almost carefree.

It was silent for a moment. She felt a bit odd sitting there in silence, but she couldnt think of anything to say. "What activities do you enjoy?" she asked him.

She nodded at his words, pulling the stolen money out of her pocket. "No worries, I think this covers it. At least I hope it does!" Pausing before she went to the front desk, Alexis lowered her tone and asked, "By the way, theiving isn't the most honest crime for a bell boy, is it?" Her eyes sparkled in amusement.

He looked at the girl. "How did you..." no one had ever caught him before, no one. He pushed the mater aside, for the moment, and waited for her to check in. "May I take you to your room miss?" he said, with a touch of sarcassm.

Marco smiled softly and bowed his head "Your welcome. My mansion is about ten minutes away from here you can't miss it. Head over when ever you like or I'm heading back now." He said straightening up.

Jian took one of the teas and shrugged "I don't do much. Mostly I like to walk with Auto when I'm bored or I go in my drawing room and paint. Sometimes sketch." He said taking a sip and placed it on the side table then ate one of the smaller cookies.

Nilin shook her head "It's a nice offer but I must refuse." She said and let her arms dangle. No way would she work with a human. What if she found out about her? That would clearly not end up well in the end.

Chris nodded then put his hands in his pockets. "So uh what do you think of these shifters?" He asked like he was a normal person.

"I'll go with you. I don't have anything else to do, so.." She smiled softly as she followed her new boss to his mansion. When Serene was young she had always wished she'd been lucky enough to live in a luxurious mansion like the upper class.

Sophia shrugs. "to me they're the same as normal humans." she rests one hand back on the hilt of one of her swords while using the other as she talks "There are some, most based on the one's I've met, that are good, and hard working and generally trustworthy. Then there are the god-forsaken pains in the rear. So I'll protect 'em if I they need me to and the government can stuff themselves."

"Your an artist?" finaly something to talk about. "May I see some ofyour work? I do a bit of art myself." she said. She hoped that he would say yes, or else she would have to struggle to find something else to discuss.

Olivia shrugging. "Ah, well, probably a good idea to stay out anyway, some of me current crew can be a bit... Shifty." If her suspicions were correct about this girl, she would get the double meaning hidden in her sentence. Digging around in her pocket, she pulled out a bronze coin emblazoned with a red tornado. "If yer ever in a bind, show this to any ship's captain, they'll take you to me. Ain't no safer place to hide than on the ship of the Crimson Whirlwind." Olivia tossed the girl the coin, then turned and walked off into the crowd.
