The silver warrior leaped forward and skillfully tossed the mouse high into the air. She opened her mouth to catch it with a cocky grin. It never came down. A falcon swooped down and snatched the mouse out of the air, leaving Leopardpelt to fall onto her haunches in shock.

Moonstars eyes widened As she raced to Lepordpelt "Are you ok?" she asked "That was amazing!" Moonstar added

Leopardpelt shook her head and hissed at the sky.
"Fox dung! That was mine!"
She batted at the air furiously and was further frustrated at her futile attempts at venting.

Moonstar looked up at the hawk as it slowley flue away and didn't say a word

She shook her head as Moonstar vanished and set about searching for some new prey. This time nothing odd happened and Leopardpelt trotted proudly down the trail with a squirrel and a raven. She was very pleased to have caught something with wings after what happened earlier and was in an unusually good mood.
