I think it's fair, the 2 sitting cats have more demand.
And I think the 2 combined would be kinda equal to the rarity of the dog.

Your pet is a null PPS which is just a popular VR from '10, not a list. Theirs is high on the advent list, they're overpaying by a lot.

So basically it's unfair to them.
