Mahogany saw nothing and either it was a trick of the eye. Mahogany pulled her body weight out of the water. She shook her name andfelt the cold against her coat. She trotted slowly by the river. A heavy fog now sat in the sky.

Lilac lifted her leg slightly it hurt a lot.

Kerosene looked at it. ((do you want it broken or does it matter? ))
Not broken)) "I think its only spranged. Just try walking on it a little." she told lilac.

"Broken?!" Lilac said. She needed to run, and she couldn't do that with 3 legs.

Nessa woke to find a small cub sitting near her. She stood up suddenly. too suddenly. She fell back down to the ground and the wolf cub kept looking. He didnt seem ...fierce. More like curious at why a foal was alone in his woods.

Mahogany slowly made her way out of the river, shaking all the water from her coat. The river wasn't rising at such a speed now but the weather didn't seem to make things better. Mahogany sent a high pitched whinny to Nessa.

Nessa Stood up slowly this time, unsteady on her feet. She heard Mahogany's whinny and called back to her. The turned her attention to the cub. she walked towards it and breathed a low snort. It shyed away and took off into the forest.

Mahogany ran to where she heard Nessa's call. She looked up at the horrible weather. Lighting struck and thunder followed. Mahogany gently nudged Nessa.
'We have to get out of here. The weather is holding suprises for us.' She whispered as she watched the water gaining speed.

Felicity bucked off the wolves behing her back. She floundered and whinnied for help. She needed someone to help her. She thought of Storm, then of Nessa. There was only Kerosene left to call.
'Kerosene!'

Storm had been travelling for a long time. He rested a few times but he knew they were getting close to the oasis. Very soon they would be there. Storm watched the full moon and dark clouds and he could only think of his herd but he first needed to help Nieva.

Nessa looked at mahogany and knew she was right. then, in the distance, she heard felicity cry out for help


'Felicity? ' she said, listening 'shes not calling for us, but she needs help. we need to go'

"I'm sorry hun but yeah i think its broken." Kerosene told Lilac then she heard felicity call. She didnt know what to do. leave the foal and help the mare or stay with Lilac and hope some else gets to felicity. Kerosene rememberd a spot that she used to hide in when she was little. She lkneeled down "Crawl onto my back i know where you can hide." She told Lilac
