sootstorm got to his paws- it'd been the first- in a long, long time- he'd been able to get to his paws. he still didn't look too well, but he'd be fine. he searched around hopelessly for his mate, his once thick fur, now ruffled and missing, was sticking up in clumps on his pelt. for once he felt he was going to live!

stormwings nudged his mate as he entered the nursery. "morning, and you too, kits." he purred, nudging them each with his paw and his tail. "c'mon, you can help me wake up the warriors." he chuckled.

coralkit jumped to her paws. "oh yes please, oh yes!" she meowed. she'd become more lively over this leafbare. and now that it was newleaf, she was super hyper.

her ears perked up and she stood walking away from the river she had been hunting at, then quickly grabbed her fish and ran as fast as she could to her leader.

Mosspetal awoke with the sound of pawsteps. Her vision, blurry from sleep, made out a figure that look like.. no it couldn't be.. Sootstorm!? She jumped to her paws, blinking to see if it was only a dream. No, he was alive, in the flesh! "Sootstorm!" She yowled, her eyes bloodshot from her lack of sleep.

Ivoryfern let out a purr, stretching a bit before rising to her paws.

Lotuskit grinned, "Yayayayy!"

morningglory was out hunting, and sat near the river where she watched dragonpaw take off away from. her ear flicked. she was getting a bit old.. she'd have to retire sooner or later. at least she'd be with venomclaw.

sootstorm let out a purr. "mosspetal?" he rasped quietly.

Stormwings turned around to see Sootstorm. His oldest son! he was alright!" he let out a purr. "come, let's go see your big [half]brother." he meowed.

Breezefur sat at the bottom of the highrock, watching the clan. He glanced over at Sootstorm. "Mmmm.. Glad to see he's doing better." he meowed out loud to himself- since he had.. nobody- to talk to.
