Talent: He plays the harmonica.

How he got his charm: A dear friend was trying to cheer him up, and noticed how much Jay liked to listen to Jazz music, so he gave him a plastic green harmonica as a gift. At first Jay was skeptical. What good could a 99¢ toy do? But he decided to give it a chance, and to his surprise, he found himself enjoying it. Eventually, he bought himself a real harmonica and took some lessons. One day he noticed a jazz competition online, and decided to enter. He showed up the next week and tried his best. The next day he got a letter and a package in the mail that told him that he'd won. Included in the package was his prize money and a small medal in the shape of a sixteenth note, which became his current charm.
