why is it that people usually don't like rats, but when they are gone for a month or two people miss them?

Lol I was kinda wondering that myself x3 it's probably nice for the artists to work with something else for a bit, its got to be tiring to work with the same linearts for years on end. I'm sure they will be back soon enough. :3

Managed to get one PPS and one GUPPS, 4 year streak haha. The PPS is precious <3

Hm... never noticed it before but the new years dogs do a color transition each year...
2010 = yellow - orange
2011 = orange - reddish
2012 = less orange, more red
2013 = red - pinkish
2014 = pink - purple
2015 = purple - blue

Next year's dog might be blue - green? xD

Yep, also the ears and tail combination is never the same and the year number is always written in white - or so I've noticed
I finally managed to get all mine in growth order.

I also like the fact tha the designs get better and better with each year - 2010 is a bit simpler and as the years go on the designs get better and more complex

yea. I've always like the rats, thought they were really cute, and while the hamsters are a cute new touch, maybe the artists will make it like the horses/ponies, where sometimes there is both, rat and one kind of hamster, and sometimes only the one or another, either rat or one kind of hamster, rather than always the two, like how this month we got no ponies!

That's what I've been saying! After all, the section says "rodents" not "hamsters" so the rats will be back eventually.

As for the rats, I've never been a fan myself- really at all. Like, I just, eh. I like the hamsters, and maybe if they just switched it around every few months that would be fine.

this is probably a little off topic but... since we're seeing a resurgence of warrior cat lines and we're getting a lot of new rodent-type things recently ... will we ever be seeing a return of the guinea pig lines? that would be really cool! <3
