I know everyone seems to like the new hamsters but is it only me who was looking forward to having some new rats at last? o;

For me, the problem with rats are that they have no demand and hard to trade. The hamsters are more popular and therefor easier to trade.

That's the problem I see here: More hamsters = less demand.
They're really cute etc. but the more we get the less they're special...
I would've prefered them to be "unique".
And no rats is a bit sad though it's true that they have no demand...

It means Grown Up PPS,which is an adult version of a PPS.
For example,this year's 2014 GUPPS:

Is a grown up/adult version of this PPS:

There are much more GUPPS than this one,but this is just an example of them. :3

I think they'll just be a normal monthly lineart from now on, nothing special about them.
We do have three different rodent linearts now: rats, dwarf and syrian hamsters. Maybe they'll change it monthly what we'll get? :3

Hm... never noticed it before but the new years dogs do a color transition each year...
2010 = yellow - orange
2011 = orange - reddish
2012 = less orange, more red
2013 = red - pinkish
2014 = pink - purple
2015 = purple - blue

Next year's dog might be blue - green? xD

Hmm..never thought of that.

Yep, also the ears and tail combination is never the same and the year number is always written in white - or so I've noticed
I finally managed to get all mine in growth order.

They shouldn't have made them a monthly lineart...
Here and there some for an event, that would've been awesome. Always be surprised and happy to have more of them ^^
But that's just my opinion.

I like it.
I never have been a huge fan of rats and now I am really happy to see the hamsters every month as a species I really like and adore and which makes me wanting to own them.

We already have so many event line-arts.
And I really have nothing against a little bit new. First the chickens, after that the foxes and now the hamsters.
I really like it.
It makes the old species which got "sorted out" only more special. And who knows. Maybe they don't stop making rats fully. Or maybe we get mice sometimes too.
