As we farewell 2014, tell us your best/worst memories!

my best memories of 2014 was definitely meeting my girlfriend for the first time. even though we weren't dating at the time its definitely something that i'll remember as my best experience of 2014. As well as I gained a lot of art experience through the year, and I hope to become the aspiring artist I wish to be.

my worst memories of 2014, was experiencing so many deaths in my family. it was definitely a hard year for me, but I'm hoping that everything will become better. I also lost my cat, and the closeness with my mom in which I hope to bring us back together.

good memories: playing Just Dance with friends, getting a perfect five on my first AP exam, purchasing my first smartphone {for free!}, going to my first summer intensive, absolutely loving my first summer intensive, becoming ten times better at ballet than I was in 2013, making a dozen new friends, asking a boy for his number for the first time {which is a huge milestone for me, generally I avoid people I have a crush on altogether!}, getting over my previous crush, receiving my signed Dan and Phil poster in the mail <333 {literally my favourite people ever}, wearing cat whiskers to school, playing Pokémon all day in my pyjamas, hanging out with friends in the Nutcracker dressing rooms, turning off all of the lights in the dressing room and having a dance party, finding the perfect Christmas tree, watching movies with my mum, and generally becoming closer with my older brother. <3

bad memories: making the tough decision to end a friendship, spending most of my time on the internet instead of with friends {aka being lonely}, rude family gossip during the holidays, crying, crying on homework, forgetting what year it was and accidentally telling a friend "see you in 2017"

Generally a good year, but I'd really like to improve myself this year - I want to become friendlier, less impatient & short-tempered, less stressed, and definitely more sarcastic. Yes. Bring on the sass.

it is the best timewaster ever, and its what made me get a drawing tablet. also, everyone here is very welcoming and stuff
i cant believe july was ages ago. omg. that proves this is the best time-waster. i also made a line-up of new characters. oekaki has helped me improve my art so much. like seriously look at this.

I had stopped playing CS for a while, and returning back to find extremely amazing pets really made my year. Thank you so much Chicken Smoothie for being the best game ever!

2014 was a fun year for the most part :]
this is just stuff off of the top of my head tbh

my best memories:

-got a pet hedgehog
- all of the marching band bus trips
-first boyfriend
- won the t-shirt design contest for our marching band fundraiser event
- made some new friends
- went north for the first time in a long time

- refurbishing my older cousin's go-kart
- spraying sunscreen in every classroom with friends
- fun pranks on friends

my worst memories:

- lotsa anxiety
- first heartbreak
- depressed for a majority of spring and summer
- got extremely sick many times
- parents fought a lot because of their jobs

my hopes:

- friend will remember my name ( he forgets it sometimes and has to ask others before talking to me )
- maybe finding true happiness
- be able to save up enough money for a new console
- finally looking my age
- finding friends that actually share interests with me

2014 was an eventful year for me. I became an adult, I graduated High School, I started a job and started college. That's the short version. On CS I joined you guys again after a 2 1/2 year hiatus for the first full year. I had fun with all the "new" stuff that wasn't there when I left and sparked my old goal again.

My plans for 2015 are simple. Improve myself. Become more independent. Learn. Get good grades. Maybe start dating again, only decent guys though. Draw. And work Hard.

Ahh, 2014 memories ... I suppose have a few worth mentioning. c:

For starters, how about some CS-related moments? Most obvious would be that I got picked to be a moderator. That sure was a special surprise that I still haven't quite gotten used to! I can hardly believe I was able to get this far after only three years on CS, much of which I wasn't even particularly active. I hope I will be able to continue offering my contributions to the site throughout 2015 and beyond as long as I am wanted here and have the time to give.

The other big CS memory this year is that I finally finished the Malk collection I started 2+ years ago! I can now say I have every one of her 159 pets, the last two of which I obtained on December 22 this year, courtesy of my beloved fellow mod, Atwood. ^^ Although now I'm not really sure where to go from here. I need to find something new to collect. ...

As for outside of CS, the biggest thing is something I guess I can't really talk about without giving away too much personal information. x3 Let's just say I've reached a major milestone in the story of my life and am about to start on a whole new chapter. I must say I am both excited and scared about what the future may hold for me, since there are a great deal of uncertainties in my life at the moment. The start of 2015 is going to signal many new changes for me. One thing I know I'm going to be doing very soon is looking for my first real job with a steady paycheck. Up to now, I've done some work here and there to earn money but nothing particularly serious.

Hmm, let's see ... I think those are the main things that have happened this year. There are several smaller memorable events, though, too many to mention here. One that does stands out is that I got to watch my first airshow in August. That was really exciting for me - I love planes. :)

I don't know if I really have any "worst" memories from this year; most of those were back in 2010. Not that my 2014 life was 365 days of sunshine and daisies, but I can't think of anything so bad that it needs to be mentioned here. I guess that's good?

So yeah, I would say this has been a pretty nice year for me, and while I'm also pretty nervous about it, I'm looking forward to seeing what 2015 has to offer. :) Happy New Year, everyone!

2014 wasn't exactly the kindest year to me. i ended up having to move out for a couple of months due to family problems at home, i lost my cat Maggie at the begging of this year, and i lost my beloved dog of 15 years to some sort of cancerous tumor in his mouth. On the bright side, however, I did make new friends and become closer with my old ones, which makes this year a little less terrible. me and my friend have also made plans to meet irl for the first time this year, and he's even helping me save up for a plane ticket so i can go see him all the way in norway. i'm hoping that in 2015 i can finally get out of this rut that i've been stuck in for the longest time and become generally happier with my life and my art. ;v;

I loved 2014. My best memory was probably when I started my riding lessons over the summer, and the worst was when I had to stop them.. I miss the feeling of being on a horse so much, especially if you actually connect with that horse. My instructor was amazing too. She wasn't one of the strict ones I had whenever I tried a lesson at a different barn.. I miss my riding lessons so much!!
For 2015, I hope things get better for everyone, not just myself. I also hope to start my riding lessons again at the barn I was at.
