Did you enjoy the 12 days of MIPsmas event? What kind of events would you like to see in the future?
I loved the 12 days of MIPsmas It was a lot of fun to see all the themed MIPs, and with special holiday horns too! I love surprise events, makes them that much more exciting wooo~ I dunno I am horrible at coming up with fun things Dx

I've been thinking about adding new genes to the ponies, namely mushroom and calico. Would you like to see these colours appear in MIPs? Are there any other colours that you'd like to see?

Fffffffff Trying to decide if I want to tryout. I used to run a really popular species myself (Goennecs, they weren't an oekaki-based species though) and I LOVED designing, but time is so tight lately, I dunno if I have quite enough time to commit to being an artist again.

I love genetics so I'll be trying out for a breeding artist spot.
Just wondering can breeding artists make regular adopts to?

June Bug - the search will be open for a while, there's no pressure to try out right away And even if you don't have time to be a regular artist, I have tryouts for guest artists as well, which provides a limited term.

skyyfox - I'd like at least one artist available just for breedings, so that there will be someone to do them when people want them, but otherwise I'm fine with people trying out to be both a breeding and official artist. I'll probably still make regular adopts once breedings open as well as do breedings on occasion, but I don't want breedings to consume all of my time :3

Also, I've officially added the mushroom gene to the genetics page!

Mushroom (ms)– recessive dependent (acts only in the absence of black pigment)

I plan to add calico as well, but wanted to get your opinion on which 'version' I should use. Should it only affect cream/pearl dilute genes, or a multitude of other genes?

Option 1
Calico (c)- recessive dependent (acts only in presence of tobiano in combination with cream and/or pearl genes)

Option 2
Calico (c)- recessive dependent (acts only in presence of tobiano in combination with cream, pearl, champagne, mushroom, dun, roan and gray)

Option 1 is the more realistic choice, but option 2 allows for greater variety in designs with the calico gene.

I think you should go with option 1. ^^
I'd like to see it as a pretty rare gene, since cream and pearl are already rarer genes. ^^
