ELWEN LUNA
elven warrior - 50+ - Nature magic
near the human stronghold - with a wolf

Drago was told to stay by Elwen. The she - elf looked at the Artillator, "Won't be a hard task, I wont move." Her head looked to the man and then back to Drago "Why don't you try to help... I said try." Her words directed to the wolf as the black wolf took up arms. He held a sword in his mouth and dropped it for the last time, putting his head in her lap before picking it back up and running to the elves. Coming across the familiar face of Aria, he sunk down and whimpered through the hilt. He now shook, and he was fearful of fighting elves. He slowly slunk forward to Faylen and Aria.

Drago didn't know what side to take. He looked to the elves attacking humans, and humans attacking elves. The bloodshed was mass. Shaking tremendously, he looked around, seeing Raoden. His eyes widened a little, now what side would he fight on? He looked around one last time. What could he do? If he fought for the elves, he'd kill more humans, if he fought for the humans, he'd kill elves, it was to much for the dire wolf to handle. He knew he should help Aria, and he reluctantly protected her as she did her work, his tail lashed as he was unsure of this, he wouldn't kill. He looked back at the two, keeping the sword away from them, and snarled at those who opposed them. He promised himself that he'd go back to protect Elwen from both sides, and his heart thumped fast as he was deep in thought. His head now hurt and he lashed his head around, the sword far from harming the elves. He hopped that no human would report him as being on the elves side, but he felt pity for Faelyn.

Quiet stressed, Elwen hummed a song to herself, and it was soft and melodic. Sighing in the middle, she looked up to the top of the tent, shuffling her hands behind her back and then noticed how uncomfortable this was "Isn't there a better, more comfortable way to capture someone?" She asked, confused and sarcastic like to the Artillator "I mean, you try sitting here like this!" Her voice now got high and she shrugged gently. "I hope you know how to fight, because if an elf comes in here and decides I'm wanted by Levos, well you must have supreme sword skills, or hope Drago or one of your comrades comes." She sighed, knowing all she said was true. Her eyes shifted to him as she spoke, her voice and face was dead serious.

    Princess Arahaelil
    Elf--158 years old--Fire-manipulation
    Currently;;in the palace--Tagged;;Queen Lauriel

Arahaelil grimaced because of two reasons. 1)Her mother had seen her, and 2)her mother had used her full name, not just her nickname. Not only that, she knew that whatever that was going to come out of the queen's mouth would not be something she would like. She turned around to face her mother, straightening her tunic.

She walked towards her mother, wondering what the queen was going to speak about. Probably yell at her for not having been at the palace for several days, instead spending her time alone, in the woods. She sighed quietly before speaking.

"What is it?" Arahaelil asked, trying to keep her calm instead of showing off her irritation at the other. She fell in step next to the she-elf.

"Uh, well, um, I'm sorry. Do you want a chair or something? Uh, maybe some water?" Jason flushed, realizing how stupid he probably sounded. "Sorry..." He muttered. He wasn't very good socially. He glanced around his tent, looking for something to do or say. Finally he picked up the bow he had been working on, waiting for a response from the she-elf. Hearing her second question, he looked up.

"Well, I'd say I'm faily handy with a blade--but you know, I'm not stunning at it. I'm better with a bow. Well, I'd say I'm really quite good with a bow, uh, not to brag, or anything," he said, flushing red again. "I mean, like, if you have a better idea--oh! What if we settle you in the back of the tent with me up front working on a bow? No, no, no, that's a silly idea... Elves are smarter that... Sorry."

He felt incredibly stupid. No one had ever told him how to behave with an elf in the room! He wasn't very good at talking to people, much less females, much less prisoners, and much less elves! He tried to hide his nervousness by glancing around the tent, looking for something to fix. Finally he just continued working on the celtic style knot on the bow.

"Yes! That's a good idea. Back of the tent." She nodded with a smile "It'll keep me out of plain sight." As she started up, she stood up and started for the back. "It's best to make things look abandoned, so if you'd like, you can stay there, I'll go in the back." She stood up and stayed facing him, walking backward so he could see her. She took a seat in the back of the tent on a wooden chair. She kept her arms down and she kept still. Tilting her head and watching him work, she could see her bow in her partial vision to her sides and she looked at the bow and the quiver that was sprawled out behind, "If you need a reference, my bow is right there..." She said, now looking at him with a questioning glance.

She didn't want to cause more trouble, or get caught by the elven guards, so she sat there, barely breathing in soft breaths with a slightly questioning glance around the tent. It was quiet big, but not big enough for her to be fully hidden, unless she hid somewhere where her body was covered from any vision. Yet, she felt time slow in her own world as she thought about how much she'd get in trouble. 'Maybe it wont be much' she thought to herself, flicking her head back so her hair isn't on her shoulders. She watched the fight, and heard the voices of the elves and humans, and couldn't really take a side, and had a feeling, neither could Drago. But something seemed to be wrong, she could seem to feel the length of herself as she nodded her head gently to a thought in her head.

Queen Lauriel
The elven Queen walked alongside her daughter for a moment before speaking. "Because of these recent attacks on our kingdom, I do not think it is safe for you to be running about in the Forest alone." She fixed a stern glance on her daughter. "You have been gone for days this time, and we just had an attack! You need to think of your kingdom before yourself, Arahaelil. What would it do if you were captured or killed? And if your kingdom isn't enough, think about me and your father. What would we do without you?" Her gaze softened, and she stopped walking. "We have planned to attack a small but wealthy human town nearby in a short time." Anticipating her daughter's response, she said" I know you wish to accompany us, but I think it wise that you remain behind."

"One: I'm not that stupid, no matter how much you think I am," Arahaelil fused back, a boiling rage slowly floating over her, her thoughts muddling and any rational thought left her. "I can take care of myself. I'm not a child anymore, mother! Why can't I have a little freedom? I never head towards the human kingdom anyways." She glared venemously at her mother before continuing, her voice raising into an angry shout. This point was when her hair burst into flames, courtesy of her fire elemental magic.

"Why can't I come along? Do you think I'll just go around destroying things? Hmm? Or maybe your just worried your precious, little daughter might go do something sensible and not kill humans because they might also have something sensible to add to the world?" At this point, Arahaelil was ready to throttle something. Or someone. Her breathing had increased rapidly, and she could feel her blood singing with the anger she felt.

"You know, I wish you would quit treating me like a child needing constant supervision. I'm not stupid, and I know how to take care of myself!" She had quieted down a bit, but rage still contorted her features. It was much too ofte she got in a rage, but afterwards guilt and shame would take over, ravaging her soul and making her feel terrible for sometimes days. She glared at her mother before stomping off in the other direction, heading towards an exit--any exit., her hair still flaming.

"Ah, um, okay." Jason continued to work until he heard her comment about her bow. He picked it up, whistling slightly. This was a master's work. He held it carefully, observing the delicate elven craftmanship.

"Wow. Nice bow. What wood is it made out of? I mean, I don't recognize it, so it's probably not one I'd normally use for a bow... Hmm..." He carefully hung it up on a bow-rack, hoping that if an elf came in here, they wouldn't see the bow. He then reached for an arrow, admiring the work.

"I honestly hope you don't mind me looking," he said, rather sheepishly. "It's just that I don't normally run into such lovely work... What feathers do you use on your arrows?" He asked, running a finger over the said feathers before carefully putting the arrow back into a quiver and placing it on a table. He then reached for the mahogany bow he originally had been working on, running a finger over the wood, picking up his carving tool and finishing the design before reaching for string-making materials and his special wax he used to make the strings.

Levos heard his Queen and daughter arguing and he sighed, he had been like his daughter Arahaelil; wild, fun and reckless at the best of times. He strode from the balcony he stood at and made his way past the throne room and weaved his way through the halls, he even passed Queen Lauriel and princess Arahaelil in doing so, he just smiled simply at his daughter flashing her a cheeky grin. He loved his daughter and loved how stealthy she was. It was extremely impressive how she managed to get past all the 10 guards outside her room and still make it to the forest. He knew it was bad to encourage such dangerous actions but he couldn't help but be proud, proud at the fact his daughter was a stealthy warrior at heart. Levos made his way to the courtyard, shooing away his guards not wanting the attention. People in the halls and in the courtyard bowed and gave their respects to him but he merely nodded to them in slight acceptance.

Faelyn felt her leg twist and mold into its sort of natural place, she stabbed the spellcaster with one of the two long daggers in her hands and looked up to see Aria making her way through the battlefield. She felt terrible that the healer, an extremely peaceful and lovely natured elf had to see this horrifying battle. She sighed and heard shouts, flicking her ears using her keen hearing she heard the Captian of the Guard for Verbroné walking into the battlefield.

She hissed and snarled anomalistically and stalked through the mass of swinging swords and deathly cries. She had extinguished her flames and blended in perfectly with the crowd. A loud cry came to her right and with lighting speed Faelyn ducked underneath the man and sliced his throat open, he flew through the air lifelessly landing heavily on the ground creating a sickly crunch. Faelyn spotted the Captain from a distance and smiled devilishly, she could heard someone sneaking up behind her and with the silent swiftness of an elf she stabbed them from behind without turning around.

Faelyn sprinted through the crowd tucking her secret, bloodied daggers into her sleeves. She decided to flank the captain, so she maneuvered to the right using her stealthiness to move her way through the crowd, Faelyn snuck behind one of the guards on Raoden's right and stabbed him in the back before stabbing the other guard in the side. She stood behind Raoden but quickly disappeared into the crowd to reappear in front of the Captain and smiled a devishly, evil grin at him. "I believe you have something of ours," she snarled she turned her palms towards him with her arms at her sides and with her command her arms erupted into flames. "Let's tango Captain Raoden," she hissed, crouching low into a fighting position.

❀--Aria Mier
elf ❀ healer ❀ water ❀ open
As Aria tried to make her way back to her stallion at the tree line, she felt a stabbing pain and looked to see an arrow sprouting from her leg. She tumbled to the ground, screaming in pain and reaching shakily for her canteen of water. She had been so close to exiting the battle. She just wasn't in her element, and it was probably her fault that she had left herself open to such a wound. Crawling back up the hill with her wounded leg, Aria tried to keep tears from leaking out of her crystal blue eyes. Pulling the arrow out with a gasp, Aria was able to clean the wound and stop the flow of blood, but it was still hard to walk. She needed to get back to Cymbiir. The rescue party was small, and they didn't need her getting in their way, especially now that she was wounded. Faelyn would have to bring any injured warriors back home; Aria couldn't stomach the violence of battle any longer.

Pulling herself onto a spooked Aeglos Aria wiped the moisture away from her face. Her leg hurt, but the materials to really heal the wound were all the way back at the center of the kingdom, about an hour's ride westward. Whispering softly to Aeglos so the mare knew everything was alright, she slowly started to trot through the trees, breathing heavily. Aria could hear the screams of the battle, and tried to block it out, searching for water to soothe her overwhelmed senses. Soon, Aria reached the river they had passed earlier and tumbled off Aeglos, limping into the current. The cool and flowing water instantly cleared her mind, and she felt better, calmer. Aria didn't like to be out of balance, and battle tended to do that to her.

After a moment of silent meditation, Aria remounted Aeglos with renewed vigor and continued on to Cymbiir, her leg already feeling better. She hummed old elven songs and poems to herself, trying to restore her inner balance. She would undoubtedly find people seeking her aid in the infirmary, and decided to head towards there, feeling the need to be helpful where she could be.

➸--Raoden Marx
human ➸ captain of the guard ➸ Faelyn
Raoden yelled in pain as the blade pierced his side, sending pain up to his right shoulder. As his leather armor was top of the line, the small knife didn't penetrate to a fatal depth, but the wound was limiting to say the least, and Raoden was more angry than anything else. Swiveling to face his attacker, Raoden had to shield his eyes from the fiery blows of none other than the Cymbiir captain of the guard. Raoden drew his sword, sending pain up his side from the wound. "We wouldn't be in this situation if you could control your warriors!" Raoden snarled, swing his blade with the air of a true master and aiming for Faelyn's side.

Elves were hard to fight because of their agility, but Raoden was larger and stronger than the she-elf, and decided to use that to his advantage. If he could keep his sword between she and his injured side, he could delay her attacks long enough to maybe convince her to go about this diplomatically. "You take back Elwen Luna, and she has promised me that she will be in even more danger than she is now. Is that really a way to treat your people?" he asked, trying to goad her into a response. It wasn't the best tactic, but Raoden need to put an end to the fighting, and fast. He wasn't fatally wounded, but he was losing blood, and too much of that could lead to a foggy mind on the battle field, and that would be his fatal mistake.

"You find her, and you can take her. But right now, the elf and her wolf hold the protection of Verbroné." Raoden feigned to the left before dancing to Faelyn's right, attempting to catch her off guard and render her imbalanced. Bringing the flat of his blade against her dominant arm, Raoden tried to throw the she-elf for something she didn't expect, something new and different. It was Raoden's signature battle technique, and what had attained him the position of captain in the first place.

(Sorry for the bad post, I'm tired right now)
Queen Lauriel
With a sigh, the Queen let her daughter stomp off, knowing that, when she got into a rage, there was no reasoning with her. Leaving her to cool off, Lauriel turned and followed the long hallways until she came to her favorite place in the entire castle- her study. She opened the oak door and went to sit at the table by the window. A map was laid out on the table, and she began to study it, locating the town that they would attack and beginning to formulate a plan on the best route to take there and back.

ELWEN LUNA
elven warrior - 50+ - Nature magic
near the human stronghold - with Jason
{This is more of a post for Drago... So he's with Faelyn and Raoden}

'under our protection'. the words rang in the wolf's head. He was on the wrong side. His fur bristled as the captain got hurt. Elwen would be very much in trouble because of him, and Drago knew it well. Something clicked into his brain as he took up his sword and snarled with much anger, stalking forward and slicing Faelyn's leg as he dropped the bloodied sword near his stance and tackled the she - elf. His claws dug into her chest and he snapped his jaws in her face, drool dropping down from his foaming jaws. He snarled and lashed his tail, locking his glance on his target.

The wolf flashed back, the elves had saved him.. But did that matter now? How the humans had hunted his family for sport? No, but he was protecting Elwen, in a way. Drago was now grateful, and this was not how he repaid his debts. His snarls hadn't ceased, and he dug his sharp claws deeper into her shoulders and chest. He then jumped off, seeing blood, and grabbing her leg, he made her slide about four feet away, not hitting anything, but it was very rough how he did it. He hoped he broke something, and he progressed forward, with haste and snarls, his claws making odd sounds on the ground bellow him. He went to lunge at her one last time, but lunged to her left, grabbing her shoulder and lifting her, looking at Roaden for any commands or suggestions, and he held her a good three feet from the ground as he rose to full height, making his head go higher and higher from the ground. His eyes softened as he looked at the Captain and awaited words from him. Clamping hard on her shoulder, he didn't put more pressure, and dealt with the taste of blood.

Faelyn snarled at the Captain as he spoke, she didn't feel like replying, she felt like ripping out his throat with her long fangs. She had to be careful fighting this man, he was large, very large, stocky built like a bull for battle. Faelyn danced around releasing her two secret long daggers using them to block and parry the Captain's attacks. The Captain herself felt a sharp tinge of pain as his sword gracefully nicked her side drawing a small amount of blood. Faelyn's blood ran cold as she heard Elwen's name.

She liked Elwen, she was one of her best warriors and had a kind heart to those she cared for, Faelyn blocked Raoden's attack as he came to her right and used her inhumane strength to push him backwards the flames erupting from her hands flying through her daggers towards him. She was about to attack when she felt a tearing sensation in her wounded leg, Faelyn screamed as the sword tore deeply into her leg she bent over forward and snapped her head around to see Elwen's large dire wolf; Drago, running towards at full speed.

Faelyn barely had the time to react as the wolf was on top of her clawing at her skin, tearing her to sherds. She felt her chest , legs and stomach being pulled apart and with aloud cry Faelyn erupted into flames. She used all her strength to blast the wolf off her body, she knew she would of burnt and hurt him but it wouldn't of mortally wounded him. She didn't want to anyway, this was Elwen's wolf and killing him would destroy her. Faelyn got to her knees blood dripping off her body, she couldn't think straight.

She was still ablaze, she was a walking, living breathing fireball as every part of her body; head to toes was alight. Faelyn looked to the Captain of the Guard and quickly, grabbed her secret daggers tucking them into her sleeves before pulling out her extremely long and thin, silver and gold woven sword. She couldn't see straight and Faelyn knew it would cost her, but she couldn't run. She couldn't leave Elwen here. So Faelyn decided to face them even with her body being a bloodied waterfall.
