Sharpstar's tail flicked as he listened. This cat was fearful, but she seemed willing to join a clan, though her reason was unclear to the leader. "I find it funny how you try to flatter me." Sharpstar murmured, looking up with a grin. "Tell me, how good are you at hunting? How about fighting? Do you know anything about herbs? How sharp are your claws? Have you ever killed a cat?"

"Well, I plan on not getting hurt, if that's fine!" Cheetahpaw chirped, before racing to the river. He skidded to a stop. "Its beginning to thaw!" The novice seemed excited. That meant newleaf was on its way. But disaster could strike if the thaw was too big.

Foxcloud seemed as lovestruck as herself when she'd first met Tigerfang, "Sounds like he's the one." The grey combatant was almost so lost in the conversation to remember Crowstar had a forbidden mate, "But, I'm not sure he's the type to take a mate." The lie wasn't too convincing so the fae kept talking hoping to fix her mistake, "It just seems like he's a caretaker, not really a lover. You know what I mean?"
