xxxxRoxy made her way back to her own tent after the show, frowning somewhat. Violet had disappeared after her act, and no one seemed to know where the girl had gone. She was fairly new, only having joined earlier that morning. It was possible she had decided the circus life was not for her and left, but that was doubtful. The strange man speaking to her in the back of the tent suddenly arose to the front of her mind. Had he been a hunter?
xxxxHer heart dropped to her stomach. If one knew, the rest would know it short order. It was only a matter of time. Roxy paused outside her tent, wondering whether to inform Jacques or try track Violet and the man on her own.

It felt like we had been walking for hours. "Are we there yet? I'm about to hop on the back of my horse and have you pull him there." I forgot, sitting on top of horses instead of in carriages is not very lady-like. Oh well, he already knew I was weird and he probably already had some idea that I rode horses because what else would I do with a horse.
