Introduction

It's funny how things can turn from bad, to a total crap storm in a matter of seconds. That's our life now... a complete crap storm. As much as we wish we could be the sweet little children we used to be... we can't. Everyday we have to remind ourselves that, because even if this horrible epidemic were to end, there would be no way to erase the horrible memories from our brains. Our minds have already been stained, and our hearts, broken. We know what real pain is. We've all struggled through the feelings off loss, betrayal, and depression.

Hope? There is none. If you wish to survive this flesh-eating breakout, you must have skill. Don't believe the idiots who claim that certain places are safe. The truth is, there are no safe places. The people who believe in these rumours most certainly will be the ones to die first.

Go ahead and make alliances if you'd like... but don't be surprised if someone decides to stab you in the back. You never know what lengths a person will go to in order to save their own skin. Maybe you can summon up enough trust to join a small group of people. Or perhaps, you'd rather remain alone. Whatever path you choose, I wish you the best of luck. Who knows? Maybe you'll have what it takes to live along side these flesh-eating creatures.

Zombie ranks:

A man wearing a camouflage jacket and hat walks up to you, leaning against a nearby, tree. You jump up, startled, and fumble around for your gun. However, he raises his hands in mock surrender, his eyes twinkling with amusement.

"Whoa, settle down now kid. Trust me, I'm not one of the infected. Infact, I work for the military." He assures you. You sigh, and immediately relax. "Now, you're probably going to want to know a little bit about what you're up against. You roll your eyes a little. You may be young, but you know for a fact that you aren't stupid. If you were, you wouldn't have made it this far.

"I already know what I'm up against. There's zombies wandering around. If I get bitten or scratched, I'll become one of them, and if they get their disgusting claws on me long enough, I'll become a human happy meal. It's not a very hard concept to grasp." The man laughs at you. You narrow your eyes, not seeing what was so funny about what you said.

"Wow kid, you're really not that sharp, are you? Oh well. I guess I have enough time to explain the six ranks to you." You frown, confusion and worry clouding your mind.

"Ranks? What do you mean by ranks?"

"Well, like I said, there's six different types of zombies. We've labeled them by using the letters Z.O.M.B.I.E. Rank E is... well... are sure you can handle this information? You honestly might not be ready to deal with this type of knowledge." You nod your head eagerly.

"Alright... Rank E is everyone." Your eyes widen as you stare at the man for a moment, trying to figure out what he really meant.

"E-everyone? What are you t-trying to s-s-say?" You manage to stutter out. The man looks down, a look of hopelessness and sadness crossing his face.

"Look kid, there's really no other way to break this to you. When the undead virus broke out, it immediately spread through the air. Everyone has it now, including you and me. It just needs to be activated by the scratch or bite of another zombie. The virus also kicks in after you die." He explained.

"So when I die, I'll automatically become one of those monsters?" You manage to get out through gritted teeth.

"I'm so sorry to have to tell you th-" He begins, but you quickly interrupt him.

"It's fine. Well, no it's actually not. But there's nothing we can do to change it at this point. Thank you for informing me. Now I think it would be best if you just gave me the rest of the information.

The man merely nods. "Alright, well
the next rank is I. This isn't so much of a type as it is a process. This is the stage in between human and zombie. Right after a person's been bitten, they suffer through the pain... No, the agony of transforming into one of them."

You shiver, but motion for him to continue. "Then there's rank B. These are probably the most common you've seen around here. They're the brainless freaks who spend most of their time smashing their heads into doors because they're too ignorant to make use of a door handle. These are the walking-dead type. They're pretty easy to get away from. They're extremely slow, they can't climb, and usually a quick shot to the head will kill them off."

"So you're basically saying that these are the least dangerous zombies?" You ask, starting to catch on.

"Pretty much." The man agreed, and reached into the pocket of his jacket to grab something. You tense up, and your fingers twitch as you think about moving closer to your gun. Soon you realize that he was only pulling out a pack of cigarettes. You frown as you come to the conclusion that this man must have a lot off power in order to get his hands on such a luxury.

"Don't underestimate them though," he added after lighting a cigarette. "One lone B on its own may seem powerless... laughable even. But when you put them in a horde, they can be pretty terrifying. Almost as scary as just a few M's put together."

"Which brings us to our next rank... rank M. These are pretty much almost exactly like B ranks. They are a bit more clever, however. They are not as slow, and they can somewhat communicate with each other. These are a little more uncommon, but I've still seen plenty of them around. They honestly aren't that bad. It just takes a few more bullets to finish them off. You see, the ones you really gotta worry about are the O ranks."

You gulp as the man gently inhales a puff a smoke, and closes his eyes. "Trust me, you don't want to run into one of those. Their eyes..." You swallow again as you see a visible shudder run through him. "Their eyes are so black that you can actually see your reflection in them. Yet, if you look close enough, it's said that you can see a faint red glow. where the pupils are supposed to be. I wouldn't know. I've never gotten that close to one. I'm a sniper, so I'm usually shooting at zombies from a far away distance. Boy, do I feel bad for the tank drivers though."

"Why? What's so bad about being a tank driver?"

"Let's just say that an O got on our military base once. Surprisingly enough, it actually seemed like he had a motive. As if he was searching for something... or someone."

You shake your head. "That's impossible... These creatures don't have enough brains to have any other motives than to kill and eat." You mutter under your breath.

The man merely shrugs. "What do I know? I was probably just seeing things. But I still felt horrible for the tank drivers. When we saw him on our property, we called in all reinforcements of course. We had never faced a zombie of his strength before. Imagine a zombie with the intelligence of human, with about 50 times the strength and speed. That's basically O rank. It took four tanks, seventeen snipers, and a missle to bring him down. He took out a tank too. He just smashed it to bits with his bare fists." Your mouth drops open in shock, your body trembling in fear.

"I wouldn't worry about it. Luckily, these zombies are rare. You'll hardly ever see them around." You nod, waiting for him to explain the last rank to you.

"Well, I guess that's all." The man tells you. "Good luck kid. I hope I helped you out a little today. But I really must be going. It's getting late, and I have to return to my post." With that he turns on his heel, and begins to walk away.

"Wait a minute!" You protest. "You didn't tell me about rank Z yet!"

He freezes in place, still not facing you. "Rank Z is to be left up to your imagination."

"What's that supposed to mean?" You cry out, frustrated.

"Very little is known is known about Rank Z. You see, the government has no information of these zombies. We only know of their existence, and the fact that they must be very dangerous.

"How do you know that they're real if you haven't even seen one?" You growl out, frustrated. He just shook his head and continued walking, leaving you alone once again to fend for yourself.

Rules:

1. This role play was inspired by a really great wattpad writer. Credit for the ideas about the different ranks and their descriptions all go to her. You should read her book. It's called the Infection. :3

2. If you would like to role play a zombie, please pm me or just ask first. As stated earlier, certain ranks are extremely rare. We can't have like twenty super powerful zombies and only three humans.

3. Pets are allowed, but please only two or less per person.

4. Please do at least three sentences per post.

5. Follow all CS rules.

6. The Code word is "Remember." Make sure to put it somewhere it your application. (You would understand if you read the story, haha)

7. Please check your spelling and grammar. The occasional mess up of the words two, too, and to is completely understandable, but not when you're messing them up on every sing post. It gets kind of annoying.

8. As strange as it may sound, friendships and relationships between zombies and humans are allowed.

Name: Creed Richardson

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Personality: Creed is the stereotypical "bad boy." He is arrogant, cocky, and has an ego so big that it's surprising he hasn't tripped over it yet. He's sly, and he knows how to trick people into giving him what he wants. He doesn't really care about hurt feelings, and he seems to have a heart made of stone. Of course, he does have a softer and more caring side, but he only saves that only for the people he knows he can trust. He is very protective of his sister.

Description: Creed is just a little bit more on the tall side, standing at a height of about 6 feet and 2 inches. He has an average build, and is at an average weight. His eyes are dark brown, and his hair is light brown. He would never admit it, but he spends a long time every day to get his hair to look the way that it does; a stylish mess. He wears studded black leather cuffs around his wrists. He used to only wear denim and leather jackets with dark jeans, but now he wears whatever he can get a hold of.

Family: He has a sister named Emma. He had a brother named Nolan at one point, but he was killed off by zombies along with his mother and father.

History: Before the apocalypse, Creed was the type of guy in school who hung out with the wrong kind of people. His parents were poor, so he got into the dangerous business of selling illegal "items." He knew it was wrong, but at the time he started doing it, he was too young to have a job and it was the easiest way for him to make money. He started putting all of the money he earned in envelopes and putting them in his parents' mail box to make it look as if they were getting donations from an anonymous donner. Several times he got caught in the middle of gang fights over the items he sold, which is how he got a bullet wound on his left shoulder.

Pets: He has a dog named Leslie. She's a "blue and silver" German Shepard.



Weapons: The only thing he managed to get his hands on was a butcher's knife, and a pistol. He also has Leslie though. He's taught her how to attack whenever the words "Sick 'em" comes out of his mouth.

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Personality: Emma is a curious girl. She's always asking questions, and wondering why things are the way they are. She loves to rile her brother up, and annoy the heck out of him. Otherwise she is a sweet girl. She is kind and sensitive, unlike Creed. She trusts almost everyone, which is one of her major weaknesses. She wears her heart on her sleeve, and she's not afraid to get emotional around others. She considers it to be a challenge when people say that she can't or is not allowed to do something. She is a bad liar, and she's horrible at keeping secrets.

Description: Emma is a beautiful girl with royal blue hair, (which she died mainly because her brother told her not to.) She too has brown eyes, which are just a few shades lighter than Creed's. She is extremely short, usually just about coming up to the shoulders of most guys. She has an eyebrow piercing and a lip ring, which she often bites when she's nervous. Her main style used to be a tube top, leggings, and boots, but now she just takes what she can get.

Family: Creed is the only family she had left. As stated before, her other brother died along with her parents.

History: Unlike Creed, Emma was known for hanging out with the right kind of people. She used to hate her brother because he was never around, and she had no idea that he was actually the one providing money for the family. She still doesn't know to this day. She was caught up in her own world, where everything seemed to be perfect. Half way through her freshman year, she had found a group of amazing friends, and she had a boyfriend named Preston. Things couldn't seem to be better. But it turned out that Preston was abusive. He would hit her when he thought no one was around, and the worst part was that she couldn't dump him. She continuously gave him second chances because she thought that she was in love, and that he would change. One day Creed caught him beating her up. He ended up sending the guy to the hospital with three broken ribs and a broken leg. Ever since then, she and Creed have been inseparable.

Pets: She has Leslie, but she seems to be more of Creed's dog than her own. She also has a sugar glider that she named Tiny.



Weapons: She has a rifle, but she has really bad aim. She mostly depends on her brother to shoot down any nearby zombies.

Description: He has jet black hair that contrasts greatly against his chalky white skin. His eyes are black with a bright red glow where his pupils should be. He wears leather gloves to hide his razor sharp claws because he is ashamed of them. He is average height, and kind of skinny. But he is way more powerful and destructive than he looks.

History: He doesn't remember anything that happened in his previous life. (LIRP)

Personality: Jay is very kind-hearted and hates violence. While he is naturally sweet and gentle, he is very well capable of tearing a zombie in half if he needs to.

Family: A paraplegic half-brother named Mack Stevens

History: Jayden was born of an unfaithful mother, to a man that was not her husband. This, as well as the fact that he shares his true father's golden hair, led his mother's husband to hate him. His mother left home and neither his true, nor his false father wanted to care for him. He ran away from home at age 16 to live with his brother, and ran away from his vicious and violent brother a year later.

Pets: None

Weapons: A Rifle, a hunting knife on his hip and a smaller knife in his boot.

History: Carley was born of two teenagers in Highschool by accident. Her mother abandoned her with her father, who tried and tried to make a decent living for her. Upon reaching adulthood, she decided to stay with him to keep him from being lonely. She was out in the woods with him when they discovered the apocalypse and he was killed by zombies.
