CAAA Character Development Challenge 2015! Work on Goal 2!

I just found out I won an auction for a new character, so my character count will have to be updated to 12.
I don't think it will affect my current goals, though.

How many characters do you have?:
Created by me from scratch would be around 42.
After that I also have at least 32 characters for a story named "On the run" (a novel, I suppose).
9 characters for another story named "Illusions", and more will most likely be introduced along the way.
At least 12 characters for my story "The land of the dead".
6 characters that I've designed based on someone else's species.
Characters I've won or adopted in tryouts are 18.

So overall 119, give or take (+ all future characters for stories that I won't get to work with until I've finished the ones I'm already working with)

Which variation of the character challenge will you be doing?:
I've such a vast variation of characters ... Some are only meant to be characters I write about (for example the ones in my stories, I've no intention of illustrating them unless I really do feel like doing it), while some are only meant to be characters I only illustrate or roleplay with - even though I of course always turn them into a "someone" before I start doing it.
So I think it will be a combination of variation one and two for me.

I can say one thing right away, because it needs to be said out loud right away; I have no intention what so ever to publish anything related to the characters from "On the run", "Illusions" and "The land of the dead" (I'm sorry, I'm not saying it to be mean or in order not to cooperate here, it's just a mindset I've had since 2009 when a certain someone copied everything I showed regarding "On the run" and tried to claim all my work as their own - and that included both my characters and the story itself. They even used my characters as their roleplay characters. Someday I hope to get those stories published as books, and with that in mind I don't want that those deepest details regarding them are somewhere on the internet so someone will tell me "it's not you who have written that story").
As for background stories and similar spoiler-containing details for characters related to "TSE", "No matter what", "The chroniclers of Delau" are also things I won't publish either - because ... Spoilers ... But these are all projects I intend to publish on my dA someday, so I don't mind showing the characters and their personalities before that happens.

Anyway, moving on. Right now I have this thread here on CS for my characters. However, I intend to not use it and instead use a website for them in the future - here (though it will probably take a while before I have the website itself finished - because I'm no good when it comes to clicking on a button and then everything's coded for you, lol. I'm more into designing my websites from scratch and coding everything myself).

Will you be getting rid of the characters you don't complete by the end of 2015?:
I've one character that I might sell to someone who'd be interested in him, because I may connect a lot to the design I made for him, but I honestly don't think that I'll be able to connect with him over that. But I won't promise that I'll "get rid of him" just yet, because it might come to change.

As for any other character that I don't manage to write about/illustrate - I doubt that I'll get rid of them. Believe it or not, even though I've many characters I do care about all of them in one way or another.

Anything else:
I will without a doubt be a busy due to college, working with cosplay costumes and plushies, and next summer I'm either back to the part of trying to get a job (which takes its toll by a lot) or trying to get in on another college. So I will have a lot to do, to say the least, but I've been feeling ever since 2010 that I truly do need to put more work and love into my characters than what I already have done. So I figured that this would be a good thing to get me moving with it.
Also, I may have counted wrong with the part of how many characters I have, but hopefully it's not entierly wrong. The last time I counted them before today I had at least 67 characters, and since then I've had time to both start two of the projects currently in the works as well as I joined CS. But the number I stated earlier should be almost correct.

Anything else: Saying this right off the bat but I don't plan to fully complete this challenge. Mostly because time is not my friend at the moment between attending college as well as a vocational school and trying to find a job. But it's a good and fun way to develop my characters (especially the ones who really need it!) so I'll try my hardest to get as far as I possibly can.
