Please don't take any of my ideas. .v. (and if they're similar to anyone else's it's purely coincidence, I don't read anyone else's forms. ]
From the shadows creeps a beast unlike any before. "Who dares stand before the Alpha?" a voice growls. Glowing red eyes,
and bones around their neck. You gasp and start to move back in fear, but something seems off, "Who are you?" You ask
quietly, "Did I stutter! I am the Alpha!" the wolf growls at you. "But… who are you?" you ask, taken by surprise, the wolf
stops to think, "I am…".
My continuation will be from the wolf's perspective.
I stayed silent for a moment. I had once known who I was, but I had forgotten, for a while the only name I had ever gone by
was Alpha. Who else should I be but the Alpha? While I thought, I remembered a name I had once heard, German for Noble
Leader.. Alrik. But this stranger had no need of my name. "I have clearly told you." I growled. "Many more times than
needed; I am Alpha!" I barked loudly taking a leap at the stranger who screamed and ran away, gone at last. I never found out
who they were to enter before me, but it gave me enough will to have a new name. I breathed in and retreated to my
comfortable shadows. "Alrik.." I repeated to myself thoughtfully. It suits me, I think I shall use it from now on.
A young lone wolf, found himself running from a group of larger wolves, they appeared to be made from fire, an awful
hissing howl coming from them as they persued the wolf. Who soon found himself trapped against a wall. The wolves made of
flame hissed and melted into molten lava, engulfing the wolf before all went back.
The vision of this image started me awake, I jumped with a yelp and looked around my dimly lit woods. "That dream.." I
breathed heavily feeling the sweat drip down my face, I shook it off. I had been unable to have a good night's sleep for as
long as I could remember. But what did it mean? I sighed again, walking away from the shadows a bit, there was no one here,
so I could safely get a drink of water and hunt some food. Alrik wasn't my name. But I did remember one thing, I am alpha- I stopped hearing a small crack of another creature stepping on a stick and retreated to safety in the shadows.
a Rabbit, a good opportunity to get food, I silently prowled to catch it and lunged forward, but as I got closer, I realized
it wasn't a rabbit, but a wolf who looked like a rabbit, I growled and he turned to face me."Oh hi!" he chirped. I was
surprised at first but didn't show it. "Who dares stand before the Alpha?" I repeated as I had with the stranger earlier.
The young adult sat down and smiled. "My name's Gehren!" he chirped. "What's your name?" his lack of fear took me by
surprise. But I quickly recovered. "Alrik. I am Alpha." I returned. The wolf who called himself Gehren stood on his hind
legs and looked behind me, then looked around. "Where's your pack, Alrik Alpha?" I blinked. and snorted, snarling a bit,
who does this wolf think he is? My stomach growled but I growled at him to cover it but somehow he noticed. "ohhh you must
be hungry!" he chirped. "there are some berries on a bush over there that taste really good" he looked a bit chubby, I
wondered if he tasted like rabbit, but before I could finish my thoughts. He ran off into the open towards town; I sighed and went
where he pointed.
Not for the berries, I needed meat... But there was no doubt I would find what I was searching for near the berry bushes, other wolves weren't the only creatures who enjoyed eating berries. But somehow, the question from the brown bunny-wolf rang clear in my mind. 'where's your pack Alrik Alpha? I closed my eyes and thought. Where was my pack, did I even have one? The closest thing to a pack I could remember was the pack of wolves made from flames in my nightmares. Although they weren't always made of flame, sometimes it was shadow, sometimes fire, sometimes just wolves made of pure light. But whatever it is.... One thing remains the same, my nightmare is always about a pack turning on me. Did my own pack do the same, or was I born a lone wolf?
I remember after it happened....after I first started having the nightmares. I woke up beside the cliffs in them, something tells me the dream is less a dream, more a memory. But I'm not one to believe in the supernatural.... or am I? I sighed and sat down. There was no such thing as wolves made from fire and shadow, they were fiction. But surely my dreams represented something from my past; I guess it's possible I'm imagining, but every time I think about it... I feel like the darkness, the evil in my dream has something to do with me and not just in being my dream. Am I...evil? I closed my eyes to think about it before walking to the water. "I must be....that has to be why, why I wear this armor made of bone... And soon. I will remember my purpose. Until then,
When from the shadows creeps a beast unlike any before, you will find me "Who dares stand before the Alpha?" I will growl
and the bones bones around my neck will clatter. You gasp and start to move back in fear, but something seems off, "Who are you?" You ask quietly, I am Alpha Alrik, I am the evil that roams these lands.
