i'm not that good with helping out but all i can really say about it is to listen to what Wheatley has to say and follow him around, until you get to the Portal gun i think? i don't remember.
controller wise, i usually just test every button out with the game and just try to adjust. x'D sorry i'm not that good of help, but hopefully you'll adjust!<3

I personally see no difference between the DualShock 3 and the 360 Controller besides deeper triggers and objective buttons. It's never affected my game, and they're pretty adjustable in controls too. I don't know if Portal allows control changes (like most games did in the past), but I would say get to know the Xbox controller. There's not really much else to say.

I just beat Children of Mana! It took ages, but it was worth it! The last dungeon was surprisingly easier than the rest of the game, although that might be because I've devised better strategies now...

Sorry, I'm not good at explaining things. Children of Mana is a very obscure game. Now what other obscure DS game do I play...
