4) When pe8ple create fantr8lls that have traits that have been specified by Hussie himself n8t t8 be can8n (d8n't g8 calling me a hyp8crite here; Hussie never said jack diddly squat ab8ut halftr8lls, and that makes it a p8ssibility in my mind. Besides, this is ect8bi8l8gy we're discussing, n8t n8rmal sexual repr8ducti8n)

about dave with albinism, have you ever seen a human with pink eyes? or purple eyes? just because he has a strange eye color (like lots of other characters, BECAUSE IT'S FICTIONAL) does not mean he has albinism.
heck, maybe he wears red contacts to be ironic. who knows.
people are allowed to headcanon dave however they want appearance wise, he is a blank slate with no canon skin color, race, etc.
also sollux lost his lisp when his teeth got knocked out by karkat.

My pet peeves are when people argue over headcanons, people who think homestuck is anime even though it's clearly a webcomic, and haters who haven't evn got to the second page and only got to the first because you forced them to.

Also, 1 have an odd o6sess1on w1th ponystuck now.

N8t true ab8ut the race thing; early 8n in a c8nversati8n between J8hn and Dave J8hn called Br8 a "white rapper". This later had t8 be changed by Hussie because it seemed racist, but it is can8n that Br8 is white.

And since Br8/Dirk, Dave, R8se, and M8m/R8xy are all ect8bi8l8gically related (in s8me weird inbred father-s8n-m8ther-daughter sibling way ), they are all can8nically white.

They are als8 the 8nly humans that have "unnatural" eye c8l8rs.

My best argument f8r this is that they all partially inherited the albinism trait, but Dave bears the full brunt 8f it.

But this is all I'm leaving it at; I'm n8t g8ing int8 a full-8ut rage quit ab8ut headcan8ns like last time.

the whole "homestuck anime" thing is a joke, by the way. like a fandom joke, ahaha.

and if we're talking about homestuck pet peeves, i got a few

1) the biggest peeve (and yes, i know i'm in it) is probably the fandom.
and yeah, i get that there's always two sides to the fandom, but "bad side" is really large and ruins it for everyone. there's been alot of times where the homestuck fandom has ruined a con by being loud and leaving mess, been malicious to hussie when he didn't post an update, been pretty irritating and immature (there's the whole "XD BUCKETZZ ERIDAN IS ALONE WITH BUCKETZ" phase that some people are stuck in), and sometimes the fandom is just downright disgusting (theres a video of homestuck cosplayers at a restaurant passing around a bucket and spitting in it. it's seriously gross).

2) probably when people get really douche-y about the whole race headcanon thing?? like, if someone says, "oh i think john is [this race]!" you shouldn't go, "no, that's wrong, he should be [this race], and here's why"
you should just say "yeah that's cool, i think he'd be [this race]"
on multiple occasions have i seen art of homestuck characters in a different race and the majority of the comments are "umm why are they THAT race" and it honestly bugs me to no end. i'm not saying you SHOULDN'T have race headcanons, i'm just saying, if you do, respect others headcanons too.

3) when people try to shame a fantroll/fankid instead of trying to help it. like, sure, if you have a full-blown mary sue with black blood and has three canon matesprits and has wings and can shoot lasers or something, you probably don't want to try and help that. but, if someone has a fantroll with only a few canon aspects wrong, don't shame it, just help out a bit. it doesn't take alot of effort to say "oh that's good, but you might want to change the blood colour" or "that's good but you might want to remove that". it does take alot of effort, however, to go on a huge, three paragrah drawl about "this isn't right, that isn't right, blah blah."
but really, at the end of the day, it's their fantroll, and in reality, it isn't doing anybody harm. if they are happy with it? isn't doing anyone harm. some people just need to chill out when it comes to "canon" and "non-canon" because there's still alot about alternia we don't know.
