Bone sighed, "Blossomfang is not there all the time to train me, it will take forever to become a warrior. I bet even that new apprentice Spiritpaw will become a warrior before me." She laughed a bit at how Sandfur was looking down, "How's Sky fall treating you?"

Sandfur shook his head, "I may be good but you deserve a tom ten times greater than I." He smiled weakly, leaning in close for a moment, "Bonepaw, I love you." Sandfur whispered ever so quitely . He stood back and turned his head away. This is it, I've commited high treason, but I love her, I love her.

Bonepaw leaned towards him, saying quietly "I love you too, Sandfur." She entwined her tail partly with his. She looked around for anyone who would see them, seeing some still there she pulled away sadly. As she did it felt her heart was wrenched fro her chest.
