- White Forest is a large expanse of coniferous trees which, during the cold seasons, turn white. From late september through late June, the forest and its inhabitants appear dreamlike. It has been thought to be the cause of psychotic symptoms in explorers and travelers, as the brain is unable to differentiate between what is real and what is fake while within its boundaries. Those who make it out of the forest tell tales of ponies living among the ghostly trees. The ponies give the survivors hope as they struggle through the dense undergrowth. Some claim that they found their way out of the White Forest by following the lead of an equine guide. However, there is no proof that the ponies exist as when the edge of the forest is in sight, they disappear without a trace.
Are the ponies real or are they a lost mind's desperate attempt to get a grasp on reality?
