((I decided that, since today is my birthday (15 years old! ), I would 're-open' this roll play. Not that it ever offically closed... I'm sending everyone here a PM just so you guys know that we're starting back up Here's my post:))

Hikari's shoulder's dropped, and she felt herself trembling as she sat up very slowly. She could tell, any wolf could tell; Shadow had lost his grip on life. "Shadow... No..." She said so very quietly that it was barely a whisper. All of a sudden, she threw her head back in a long, sorrowful howl that would send chills down any wolf's spine, "Shadow!" She cried in hopelessness. "You took him away Bloodlust... You took away the only father my pup's would have ever known.." She cried quietly to herself, looking down at her paws that were covered in Shadow's blood. "Shadow you can't be gone... Not now..." She said, collapsing back to the ground next to him, her paws covering her eyes.

Meg went slowly over to where Hikari was and put a comforting paw on the Alpha's back. "I'm sorry Hikari" she whispered, her voice cracking. A vision of her mate, Jake, flashed before her eyes. She remembered finding him after the battle, wounds covering every inch of his brown pelt, caked with dark red blood. She rembered looking into his beautiful dark blue eyes, filled with pain at every breath he took, knowing he was going to die. "Jake! Don't leave me!" Meg cried as tears slid down her face and splashed to the ground. "I- I love you Meg. Tell... the pu- pups goodby, and- and that I love them... too" Jake faltered, his voice bearly audiable. "I will tell them. I love you, Jake. Goodbye" Meg whispered as her mate took his last breath. Meg laid her head on his lifeless body as tears flowed like waterfalls down her face. "I'm sorry" Meg repeated. "I know how you feel"

Tot stayed outside the den, knowing that the best choice right now was not to disturb Hikari or his mother. Tears of sympathy for the Alpha Female slipped down his cheeks. He knew that Megan must be thinking about her mate, Tot's father, because almost the same thing had happened to him as it did Shadow, leaving three pups without a father. Who will become the Alpha now? Tot thought, Since Hikari and Shadow never had pups?

Hikari shook her head as she slowly as she stood up, looking at Meg from over her shoulders as another tear ran from her eyes. "Meg I... I... I never got to tell him..." She said in a voice of pure heart break. "I only just realized... I... Meg, I'm going to have pups..." Her voice broke, and her heart felt like it was being torn apart. "He never knew, he was going to be a father and... They..." She could barely speak through her crys and the tears that streamed down her cheeks. "I... How am I going to tell them once they start asking about him...? I can't bare the thought of telling them that he'll never see his pups grow up..." She looked sorrowfully back at the she wolf next to her, knowing that she'd gone through almost the exact same thing when Jake was killed. If she felt this heart broken about what had happened, she could only imagine what she'd felt like...

Juliet lifted her head with the slightest expression of a frown curling in to her lips. The cruel femme crinkled her nose as her pack fell, almost silent. Had Bloodlust truly just done that? Just taking away the alpha's life so recklessly, and without thought. The alpha frowned silently, her slow stride directed to her mate carefully. As she reached the gray wolf, she starred at him quietly. "Bloodlust is going to try to get back in to the pack, whether this was her attempt, or something even more extreme." Juliet murmured to Jasper quietly, her eyes lowering to the ground, "This is going to be a big fight; assuming Valley Pack thinks Bloodlust is still with us."

Lune quietly looked at the ground, with no words to speak the sudden wave of emotion coming over her. Though Valley pack was their enemy, she almost felt sorry for them. . . The emotional healer did not enjoy her strong wayward feelings; that so quickly overwhelmed her. "Rowan, what is going to happen to Bloodlust, and the Valley Pack, and our already crumbled relationship with them?" she questioned all at once, her voice rising from a soft murmur to almost a stern scolding level.

Rowan:
Rowan looked up at his father. "Jasper-father.." she said as he trailed off. "Perhaps until we can tell Valleypack Bloodlust is not in our pack, perhaps you should call back the groups that were about to head out to attack, and maybe we should go on the defense for a while.." Rowan said as his words trailed off into nothing. He looked at Lune and flicked his ears softly. If they attacked, his whole pack would be endangered. Valley may not have the upperhand, but if Shadow dies, they were bound to want revenge..


NEW: Rowan flicked his ears at Lune, "Shh." he said quietly as he nudged her head softly with his. "I will explain later." he whispered almost inaudibly, even for wolves, but he knew she would hear him. He looked back at his fatehr intently.

Loralie:
Soon a large boulder arised infront of them. lor's eyes gleamed at the sight. She forgot how much she loved it here, and the large feather moss bed she had built was still intact inside. She had always dreamed of coming here with one of her packmates that she cared most about. And Dakota was a perfect match. Loralie looked back at him as she flicked her ears happily. "Wa la." she barked with a small laugh. She looked at Dakota before walking in and sitting on the bed, "What do you think?" she asked him cocking her head slightly.

Dakota smiling faintly as he slowly walked towards where Lor was sitting. He looked around in near amazment, "You.. Made all this yourself?" He said quietly as he looked around, "I've never even been here before... It's just beautiful Lor.." He said, gingerly laying a paw on the feather moss bed as he smiled softly over at her, his ice blue eyes having a calm and gentle look to them.
