A bone chilling roar comes from Vasali as the young rouge takes a shot at his leg with a tusk, the young beast was making the older one more and more furious by the minute. The two ram each other again and lock their tusks together, each pushing against the other with all their might. The rouge's foot slips on a patch of ice and the action allows Vasali to twist his head and shove against him, his thick shoulder and leg muscles bulging as they flex under his now pure-white scales, the warm grey now gone. When the rouge attempts to counter Vasali's twisting, his other foot slips and he goes down with a defeated bellow. The great Bewilderbeast rams the younger male hard in the shoulder, drawing blood and crushing bone, but refrains from killing him, he wasn't that cruel. The young rouge screams in pain as his shoulder is crushed and half crawls to the water where he slides into the watery depths and disappears.

Vasali rears back and lets out a triumphant roar that shakes the ice fortress behind him, he was still the King of the nest and will be until his death. He drops back onto all fours with a powerful thud, making the ground beneath him tremble, and heads back to his nest with his head held high. His tusks were a bit bloody at the tips from when he gored the rouge's shoulder, but he was more interested in claiming his place in the hotsprings than cleaning it off. When he sees Sameera standing in the whole he made in the wall of ice, he snorts in a bit of pride, he had defeated a challenger while his Queen watched. The thought makes him mentally pause, his Queen? Since when was the young female his own? Vasali shakes his head a little and heads up to where the said Queen stood, his ice-blue eyes looking into her own as he passes by her, a faint rare smile touching the corner of his large mouth, "Nothing to worry about."

They ride an air current back towards the island, it was easier to simply glide than continuously flapping to stay up. Emma sighs softly and enjoys the feeling of the wind rushing around her, she had always dreamed of become a dragon herself, but since that wasn't possible this was the next best thing. A sound of wing beats nearby, drags the rider from her peaceful thoughts and she had her bow up and ready in an instant, but it was only Thrain and Heidrek. She lowers her bow and gives a half-hearted wave back to the fellow warrior as they raise to her and Shadow's level. The wind makes it hard to hear his words, but she was use to it and could hear him well enough. Emma shrugs and pulls her face mask up as she speaks, calling over to Thrain, "Not really, heading back I guess. Why? You up for another butt-whooping?" A sly smile forms on her lips as she motions with her hand towards the training grounds down below, it wasn't a secret that her and Shadow were very good at aerobatics and fighting while on dragonback.

The dragoness easily glides on the air current, her wings weren't very tired, but it was still nice to simply glide. She hears the approaching dragon and rider before Emma does, but doesn't alert to them since it was only Heidrek and his rider Thrian. The female Nightmare snorts and flaps her wings a few times to slow her speed so that the other pair could level with them. She looks over towards Heidrek and then towards the dragon's rider as the man called over to her own rider in greeting. Shadow snorts and looks back to Heidrek, a light roar coming from her sharp-toothed maw as she angles to the side to catch a draft. She glides to the side, bumping the male Nightmare's wing with her own in a rare bout of playfulness. She's normally pretty cold towards other dragons, but since Heidrek is one of her own, it's hard for her to give the brute the cold shoulder that comes so easily with other males who attempt to gain her attention.

The male roars loudly as he flies around above the nest, he was bored and there wasn't anyone around to mess with, at least not anyone strong enough. Talamin snorts and hovers just under some clouds his redish-pink scales absorbing the sunlight that was filtering down to warm them, the cold fortress below was not made for the likes of him. He was a hot-blooded desert dragon, made to swim in the hot sands and relish in the burning sun, not to sleep in a ice castle and swim in freezing cold water. The Wraith growls a little at the thoughts of his homelands, he missed them, but there was no going back now, another dragon has claimed the last of the sands so he was forced to stay away. Talamin shakes his spiky head and starts to head back down towards the cursed ice fortress he now calls home, the heat of the sun still clinging to his scales.

Sameera dipped her head in greetings as Vasali passed. "That's good, thank you for protecting our nest." She said surveying the damage. There was just a little ice here and there but it would cause problems with the ships. She broke what she could with her tusks and feet but called on the fire breathing dragons for the rest. They got to work and she was satisfied leaving Berwald to supervise with a nod in his directing. She went back inside the nest and used her icy breath to repair the hole Vasali had made before going to where the villagers where. Letting out a icy breath she nodded her head and they cheered. The Grunckle took those who couldn't climb the ladders to the top and dropped them off, letting them walk home because most were too proud to be flown. Sameera smiled at them, it made her happy that they were all alright. "Make sure nothing got broken during the fight, some things fell in the hot spring but it was just ice so it should be fine." She ordered before turning and heading back to the hot spring. Once there she replaced the ice spikes on the ceiling and returned to the water, submerging completely in the deeper end. After a few minutes she got out and laid down in her snowy bedding that matched her white scales.

Dagny looked around watching everything as she wanted to help. Frightlight got an idea as she took off into the sky. "Frightlight, what are you doing?" Dagny asked as the Flightmare flew into the sky out of the nest. Dagny grabbed Frightlight's reigns gasping slightly as they flew above the nest. Dagny held her breath feeling the icy cold wind hit her skin and she looked around for Myra to see if she could help out in any way.

Birkir rushed back to the nest as fast as he could taking the same route he came in before. As he rushed into the hot springs entrance he then saw that everything was over Sameera was fixing up the hole left by Vasai. He sighed "I'm glad that's over"He said as he caught his breath he went to look for Stryder "knowing him he didn't bring the kids to the nest". He said quietly with a bit of annoyance in his voice.

Thrain watched as she drew her bow, arrow ready to strike. He held up his hands as if he was surrendering. He chuckled under his breath as Ember let her guard down and put her bow away. Thrain listened to Ember, laughing at her comment. He shook his head, chuckling to himself. "Oh no no, I was wondering if you were up for a butt-whooping!" Thrain called, hoping he was loud enough for her to hear. He knew that Ember and Shadow were one of the best aerobatic pair on the island, but he had been practicing for a while. Thrain looked down onto Heidrek, watching as he was interacting with Shadow. he smiled slightly and looked back at Ember. "Well, ready for some practice?" He said with a slightly cocky tone, ready for a little friendly competition. Thrain started to wonder if his practice would pay off... he nodded to himself, they practiced every night and mostly all day, he should at least have a head start in things.

Heidrek's large wings stretched out, flapping every now and then to keep him and his rider in the air. The air would carry his wings, giving him the freedom to just glide. He looked over to Shadow, his yellow eyes watching the female. He heard her snort a few times, he didn't know if it was out of annoyance or what. Heidrek then locked eyes with Shadow, and heard her light roar of greeting. He gave one back, his jaws departing and his long, sharp teeth visible for a few moments before they met each other again. Before he finished, Heidrek felt Shadow's playfulness as she knocked into his wing. He gave a sudden shocked expression, not expecting her to be like that. He was used to her being very serious, like he was at times. Though, she was far more independent that he was. Only during battle was he so aggressive. But giving the playfulness in return, Heidrek bumped his horn with hers, snickering to himself.

I Kinda just blinked at the event that was happening down below us. It was rather well interesting I guess you could say. The King of the nest had defeated the other Bewilderbeast quite quickly actually. I looked down at Zabaki who looked up at me with his golden eyes. "Well that was not very eventful." I said to him as he cooed in agreement. With that we turned away from the area and headed straight off, back to the forest that we knew we could hide in easily.

I stood there on the roof, watching everything that was happening. It actually went by pretty fast which was nice. I stood there for a moment more before I started to climb down. It was at that moment when I heard my mother starting to cough like crazy again. I quickly made my way down and into the house. There I ran over to my mother and helped her up so she was not laying down. I all grabbed a rag and gave it to her. I sat behind her as she kept cough right on into the rag. It took a couple minutes for the fit to die down and she was able to lay back down. I took the now bloody rag and dropped it into a bucket before I looked back at my mother. I just sighed as I went and got Mari. I looked at her as I stroked her head. "It is ok now." I said to her before I grabbed the bag with all the meat in it.
Once more I headed back onto town, looking around for anyone that wanted to buy some deer meat. I also was heading to the medic's place to grab more medicine for my mother. She was starting to do worse again.

She smiled slightly when she walked into the woods being alone. She pulled out her skrill pendent smiling with an evil like grin before she put it away.

The brute rumbles a deep sigh as he slips back into the hot water, his scales automatically darkening to a warm grey. He returns to his previous spot and lays in the water so it covers all but his head, the warmth was a welcome feeling as it was like a reward of fighting off the rouge challenger. Vasali yawns rather loudly and moves so that he can rest his great head on the shore and take a much deserved nap.

A loud laugh comes from the rider as she hears Thrain's comment, it was amusing how he thought he could beat her and Shadow. Emma shakes her head with a smile and pats Shadow's neck, "No one has beaten us and I highly doubt that you can." She shrugs and then quickly grabs her saddle handles as Shadow jolts forward in her attempt to play with Heidrek, a light laugh comes from the rider as the dragon levels out again, "It looks like Shadow is more interested in playing than doing any practicing. How about me and you practice on the ground, sword fight, while these two do their own thing." As she was talking, she had to grab the handles again as Shadow glides to the side again, making Emma roll her eyes at her dragon.

The surprised look on the male's face only makes Shadow all the more playful, she has always like to surprise and scare the other dragons. A light rumble sounds in her chest as Heidrek bumps her horn with his own, it sounded like a growl, but she makes it higher pitched so the male knows it wasn't a true growl. Shadow beats her wings a bit and jolts forward, but stops and falls back to be level with the other pair when she feels Emma tighten her grip on her back. She snorts a little in disappointment, she wanted a good race, but with Emma on her back, it won't be a fair race since two riders were weighing down the dragons. Instead, Shadow glides to the side again and bumps her wing on Heidrek's again as well as swatting his tail with her own.

The dragon shakes his scales when he gets closer to the icy fortress below, the cold had never been very inviting to him. Talamin snorts and turns away from the ice, heading for the forest instead where it was warmer. He sails over the trees until he comes across a wide meadow with a small pond, it was big enough and the pond looked clean enough so he lands. The Wraith shakes out his chilled wings and folds them against his back before walking around the meadow and checks out the area, it was alright and will suit him better than the ice fortress the other dragons were hiding inside.
