Zaid opened his eyes and looked into hers and squeezed her hand. "I'll survive" he said with a smile.

"You'd better! I need a partner!" Xaria said, winking cheekily. She giggled, lying back and staring at the plane ceiling.

Zaid smiled and fell into a light slumber.

Xaria sighed as she heard his breathing slow and regulate. She smiled lightly, shutting her eyes. She fell asleep for the first time ever on a plane.

Zaid woke with a start as the flight attendant came onto the intercom once again, he shifted uncomfortably as she said. "Ladies and gentlemen we ask that you fasten your seat belts we are coming into landing very soon." Zaid clicked his seat belt together and shook Xaria gently trying to wake her up.

Xaria's eyes fluttered open and she sat up abruptly, already fully awake. She glanced up and saw that the sign for seatbelts on was flashing so she quickly buckled herself in, returning the seat to it's upright position and pausing for a yawn.

Zaid smiled at her and said "Good morning!". He straightened his seat and took another drink of his pop.

Xaria yawned, stretching slightly. "Morning..." She pulled up with window cover and winced at the bright light, blinking a few times. Eventually, she got used to it and watched as they got closer and closer to the ground. She sighed with relief as they touched down on concrete.

Zaid smiled as they taxied down the runway. "I can't believe we are here!" he said excitedly. Soon, the plane stooped and people started getting off. They were one of the first to get get off because they were in first class so, when he stood up and grabbed his bag waiting for Xaria.

Xaria grabbed her luggage in one hand, slipping her other into his free hand. She smiled at him, excitement in her eyes. They might be rivals in reality, but she had to keep up the act.
