Stone flicked his tail and picked up his prey. "Good for me." His stone gray tail flicked decisively. "I suppose I'll go back. But I may just come back, seeing that these 'DawnClan warriors' don't protect their borders very well. They practically threw the prey right to me." His words were sent mainly towards Goldenpelt, and his whiskers twitched with amusement. "I think I'll be on my way now."

"Alright..." Scarletpaw murmured, flicking her tail. She was however, thinking of how thankful she was at the moment. Ashfire was a good mentor to her. She was thankful to not live in IceClan. She knew the apprentices would be beaten sometimes, as she had seen the scars along their sides. The only time that had happened to her was when Sharpstar dropped by and gave her a good chip in her ear after hearing her voice her opinion. Scarletpaw zoned off a bit, and stared at the ground, green eyes clouded with thought.

Crowstar was panting, and through his breaths he meowed,"Yeah... it was." The warrior flicked his tail to the freshkill pile, indicating that they could now eat a well deserved meal. Once he had gained his breath on the way over, Crowstar meowed,"Choose something."

- - - - - Following the black tom over to the fresh-kill pile she slightly bowed her head as a thank you for letting her choose her meal first. The grey combatant chose a small vole, squirrel was her favorite but lately she hadn't been hungry enough to eat even the smallest of squirrels and Littlestep did not feel like sharing a meal with anyone. It's been a few days since she'd even talked to Sparrowtail. "Thank you. For going out with me today, I really needed some company." She said to Crowstar with a bit of a muffle on her words as she spoke around the creature in her tiny jaws.

- - - - - The large tom knew how it felt to wonder about life in other places, after his mother died Ashfire considered leaving Dawnclan. It pained him to keep such a secret from Scarletpaw, but he didn't know what'd she think of him if she knew. "I'm just glad you're here as well." He purred as he tried to rid his brain of its thoughts. Whenever a half-clan was brought up he couldn't help but wonder what might happen if he was found out. Nearing camp he put a serious look on his face as the rest of his clan thought he didn't really have many emotions and only knew how to agrue or fight the law. "Excellent work today, I'll look for Heartstar a bit later."

Though lately the fae had started eating there alone again. "It's just nice to get away sometimes. You can see everything and everyone, but you're tucked away enough that most of the time they don't seem to see you." Settling herself down to eat the young combatant figured Crowstar might be wondering why she chose such a spot.

- - - - - Leaving Scarletpaw, Ashfire glanced around the clearing hoping to find Heartstar. She was no where to be seen, so the tom shrugged the idea off of his brain and decided to catch up with her later. Maybe he'd invite her to eat with him so they could talk about his apprentice. Stretching he laid down to let the sun soak into his black pelt as he rested from their short hunting patrol.

- - - - - Chewing, swallowing, and repeating, the warrior ate her meal as she chated with the larger tom, "I know." She mumbled knowing that no matter how much she worried about her family in division one she couldn't shut herself out from her own division and friends. "With Sparrowtail's kits becoming novices and Leopardstar taking over division two perhaps she might like some company later." Though that thought was aloud, Littlestep had meant it mostly for herself. Sure Crowstar would always be there if she needed him, but the grey combatant had to convince herself to start socializing again and stop being an in clan loner.
