ive been wanting to post here for quite awhile because ive been having some issues & i dont know who to ask uvu so any help would really be appreciated !! ( though its 3am here so id just limit it to one for now hahahaa )

okay first issue. theres this guy ( lets name him k ) whose been messaging me since feb. we met in school & he asked for my number, which didnt make me suspect much since our conversation was cut off halfway and i had to go off [strike]and because im so naïve when it comes to these issues[/i]. in his messages, he was really clingy & kept dropping hints where, since i didnt like him at all, replied with ' im not interested in a relationship now ' and ' hahahaa v funny ' and stuff.

in the end, he did confess over our text message, which i finally couldnt take it anymore and told him ' i dont like you ' ( i didnt want to make him feel v sad / demote himself ) he said that its okay and that hed wait because im the only one oh my gosh but i dont feel anything at all. i dont feel that hes the one. I still message him & treat him as a friend, but after he kept trying to get me to go out and stuff I just want him to STOP. im fine with being friends but, i dont want to go out with you..

is there any way to reject him nicely ? he keeps saying that ' time would take care of that ' but i keep denying.. hes a good friend but. i just cant. help please ):

We haven't spoke much as of yet, but we have basically the same interests (food, feminism, shopping and television), she's queer and she is basically the prettiest person everrrrr (and she's really secure about her body which I find really attractive in people). We're in the same industry as well!

Okay, so lets call the first guy I like "Roger". Let's call the guy who's sweet to me "Nick"
So all the time I see all the other girls in my math class flirting with Roger as he's "so" smart. Then I always see Nick trying to impress me making me feel guilty.
Roger occasionally speaks to me or tells me a small joke while Nick complements my outfit, says something nice to me or brings up a conversation. But I truly would rather date Roger then Nick. Roger wouldn't hate me to pieces but Nick has feeling for me, but I don't feel the same about Nick. Also Roger throws in a 'strange' flirt. Which is really annoying (grabbing my hand while touching my hair). So I have no clue who to choose o-o

But Roger is more desirable to others >.<

Hmm... well I think it matters as to who you truly like.

It's totally understandable that you don't want to make "Nick" feel bad. But you have to think, is it really worth being unhappy and choosing him just to to spare his feelings?

Also, is "Roger" pretty popular? If so, then this could be something to keep in mind. I once liked a popular guy (we were childhood friends), he was really nice when we were little, but then I think the popularity got to his head. He kind of became a jerk, also, since he girls were all over them, he was kind of-I guess you could say- a player. I wasn't exactly "in the loop", but I'd heard that he dated a bunch and liked a bunch of girls back who also had crushes on him. Now, this of course will not specifically apply to Roger, it's just something I thought I'd just throw out there. But, if you know that Roger genuinely likes you, then this shouldn't be a problem.

Also, I noticed that you said that Roger is more desirable to others. While this could be a plus... it shouldn't be the only reason to choose him.

My point is that you just have to think: Who would I be happiest with? Will they make me laugh? Will I enjoy the moments I spend with them? Will we have a great relationship together? Oh! Also, whomever you choose, the other person should not make you feel any guilt about not choosing them. It is your choice and yours alone.

I literally had the same problem! Okay so go honestly if you like both then go for the one who seems to care more. I am currently dating my guy who was my "Nick". My "Roger" is still a really good friend of mine but I came to the realization that I might never date him. It is upsetting at first but he was always all over girls at parties and even though I felt special around him in the end, "Nick" was the one who cared most. If you have anymore questions please ask me because I just went through the same thing!

Boyfriend's been working so much this Christmas break just to get money so we can go on a nice date... His work ethic is great and I appreciate what he's doing, but I wish he'd understand that he don't have to take me on fancy or even "going out" type dates... I'd be so happy if he just came over and watched movies with me... Oh well, I think it's my parents comments on the lack of dates that's driving him to make a really nice one happen...

So, I recently got in touch with one of my previous teachers from two years ago, and talked with him with a yearly recap, slowly confessing to him that I liked the guy I did :3
Oddly, he said that he wasn't surprised I lied him, since he was a nice guy and all. My gosh, I thought he would react worse than he did! Haha.
I put a note into his locker before break started, and I hope he's gonna see it because his locker's a dump, and he has the top one... Whoops XD

Stop cuddling with him, first of all. That physical contact, while not inherently inappropriate for everyone, is inappropriate for you currently because it is fanning the flames for an inappropriate attraction. Since you haven't seen him in so many years, it's not terribly unusual for these sorts of feelings to occur. It's nothing to be ashamed of, but it's best not to let it continue.

Mildly unrelated, but does anyone else think that this "no stating your age" rule is not only useless, but actively harmful? I would never give a 13 year old the same advice as an 18 year old, and basically every other virtual pet site on the internet allows users to state their own ages without any problem whatsoever. It's not like you type "15 year old" into google and a person's name and address pops up. Age is an extremely critical element to giving valid advice in this thread.
