Kaito searched through his memories frantically, trying desperately to remember something. Nothing came until he heard the name Jellal. Jellal......is.......I don't remember. All I know is that he was important to me. So was Erza......big sister Erza. I don't remember their faces. How can I not remember their faces. Kaito looked up at the red-haired woman, a sincere look in his eyes. "Who are you? I don't remember meeting you. All I remember is waking up in my family's house. They found me on the shore, said I was in a bad condition. They said I shouldn't have been alive. Why can't I join Fairy Tail? Why don't I.....belong?"

Kaito blinked once, than twice. Kalin? Was that his name? For a moment, a few of the images began to make sense. The red hair belonged to big sister....Kaito wrapped his arms around Erza, genuine tears falling down his face. Not the tears of someone who had remembered doing something awful, but the tears of a child who had just woken from a long dream. "Big sister Erza, why did you leave us behind? Jellal said you left because I wasn't useful. Is that true?" Despite having the same Western accent, even Kaito's voice seemed childish and free. It wasn't as cold as the voice of a man who had seen torment and pain, much of which he himself had caused. After all, his mind had only gathered what had happened to him as a child.
