Well here are my two tips: before starting, practice drawing the character. A lot. The more practice, the more fluid and recognizable the character is from panel to panel and page to page.(take it from a person who didn't do that)
Also, separate the story into chapters. Have a mini-plot for each chapter, and work specifically to get one chapter done at a time.
As far as art, you have a very nice style :3

Thank you! I've drawn the main character plenty of times on traditional pieces but i'm not sure about other minor characters. Love your sig. c:
