Mouse looked up, his pupils turning to near slits. He paused and calmed down, his pupils returning to normal. He swallowed lightly and approached the apprentice carefully, still having a faintly guilty look. "Catmint? O-oh, we're out?" He stumbled over his words, his legs giving a small shake as he stared at his fellow apprentice. He was nervous, he felt it in his chilled body. He hated the feeling but admitted nothing, though with how unthinking his mind was at the moment he was amazed that he hadn't blurted anything out yet.

Arrowpaw snapped back "Yes! Flamepelt could die and all you're doing is lieing around!" She said as she started out for the way out of camo.

Mouse felt his legs give out under his body for a moment, faceplanting into the dirt with a small huff. He got up and stared at the she-cat, wanting to say something. He knew what his conscious was saying /snap back at her, you have a reason to sit around/. But his conscious was buried deep inside his distant mind, he couldn't think straight, and it wasn't worth the punishment by the leader. The she-cat hated Tallstep already, he would end up next. He followed Arrowpaw, still holding his thoughtless tongue from snapping back in a delayed way.
