Varien waited. He heard many 'who's there? Hello?' and many pawsteps running rampant through the forest, more haste than anything. Yes thy mortals, run around and look foolish... split up. You most certainly can take anyone alone,ah yes. I thought there was a reason for pack usually sticking together, at least in groups of three. the silvery brute inwardly thought, although as usual, he never let it show. He stood up his single blue eye dancing around the sunlight territory, before he quietly slipped through the bushes and sat directly on the border, his silvery pelt gleaming in the sunlight to make him appear surreal. Let us see how long it takes thy mortals to find a large silver wolf with a single blue eye, in thy middle of an orange, gold forest. Which, is the only place he is supposed to be able to hunt. Or whomever else they seek.... the moody male was in one of those moods. So Varien waited, as expressionless as always as he watched the silhouttes run rampant in a way that'd make even his mentor cringe.

Darkest rolled his eyes at Varien's returning howl. In spite of sounding almost the same to every wolf, he knew his apprentice very well. He then cast his golden gaze back upon Jayde, and gave the smallest of smiles. "Ah yes, you are truly worthless," the small brute said standing up, his face dripping sarcasm. "Such a lovely mentality. Dearie me, You'd think I'd left you in here starving with Varien for a moon," Darkest chuckled, shaking his head before licking his maw. "Ah yes, we'll soon see how worthless you are," the jet black brute said in a content tone, moving to the entrance of the cave and sitting down. He slowly began to drag his claws over the dirt, before turning to face her. "Tell me a bit more about yourself," he purred, placing his tail over his claws as he waited, his ebony ears flickering backwards, silver tinged with age.
