Cloudspirit nuzzled his adoptive kit sweetly, smiling into the little amber scrap of fur's pelt. "Whatever you say, Brookkit." He laughed lightly; though something felt... off. He rose his head and looked around, meeting the gaze of Maplesap for a moment; the lovely dark ginger she-cat looked conflicted. The snowy white tom flicked his mud brown tail as she stood and trudged out into the forest, and his gaze softened.

Fallenstar smiled tiredly at Leopardkit. "I'm afraid not, little one. You've still yet to grow up. However, your skillful talents in the area of stealth will be useful to this clan. I'm sure you'll make a wonderful apprentice."

Owlkit slipped out of the nursery and rolled his eyes at his sister " Leopardkit. Give it up, she's not going to make you a paw sooner! If anything you'll be made one later for being so ANNOYING!"

"Shush! The leader is talking to me." The small she-kit licked a paw and swiped it over her ear as muturly as she could. "Sorry about him." Her voice was as formal as she could muster.

Owlkit rolled his eyes " You just think your special because your the only girl in our litter. Your nothing special! Your just a little kit with an inflated ego who needs to accept they have to WAIT like everyone eles. Your not special Leopardkit, stop acting like an idiot."

Leopardkit flinched as though she had been hit. "I......You're just a jerk who no one liked. Bully in fact." She glared at her brother and pounted her stubby, little tail at Brookkit. She lowered her voice. "I'm special...."

Owlkit blushed fluffing out his fur " I didn't mean to make Brookkit sad! That was an accident. Your no better than me, or her or any other kit. Your just a silly kit that annoys the leader and gets in trouble!"

Leopardkit glared at her brother. "We'll I don't hurt anyone's feelings. AND you get in just as much trouble as me. Sence you follow me around everywhere. I don't have a moment of peace to talk to anyone!"

Fallenstar rose a brow at the bickering kits, her partially blinded gaze flicking between the two of them with interest. "Now, now, you two. Owlkit, you only have one sister, so be nice to her. Leopardkit, no need to call him names. Neither of you annoy me, and you make be troublesome but that's because you're still learning your rights from your wrongs. The rivalry between you two is amusing. Deep down, you two love each other, despite all your bickering, I know it." She laughed lightly despite her odd headache, prodding Owlkit with her tail tip. "Even if someone won't admit it."
