The "big gap" is somewhat of a misnomer. It's not signifying that the specific gap between the two consecutive pets above and below it is very large. It's more to show that there's a general division between the two halves of the main list, as the "tier gaps" below the big gap are relatively small for the most part compared to the gaps seen above the big gap. Even some of the gaps above the big gap aren't that huge though; experience trading will allow you to better understand these gaps (or you could always refer to the gaps list). This question has also been answered before, do a search for "big gap" and look through previous posts. If you want the specific gap, look through this topic (you can do a search) to find the gaps list. I'd rather not explicitly say it again because I don't want to enforce in any way the idea that that value is solidified.

For the list I understand that it shows the worth of the pets, but how can it be that some OMG so rares are rated less than some very rares? Doesn't the rarity show how much pet's of the one exsits and shouldn't pets that have a lesser number of existing outcomes a higher worth than others? Thanks for any help I just want to understand the list a little better.
The list is a result of a multitude of factors, two of the largest ones being rarity and demand. You're speaking of the list potentially being comprised just based on rarity, but placement is affected as some pets have very high demand, mediocre demand, or even "poor" demand by community trading behaviors / standards. Also, pet rarity tags are dependent on the number available for circulation, so pets that have been dormant within collections but have been obtained "relatively recently" could cause the apparent number of those specific pets available to be much less than it actually this. This in turn, affects demand or trading offers and behaviors, and all these small things have an effect as well.
