Malone flicks her ears still not awake. "Is that what it is? Well... I thought it was an oversized mouse." she tells him quietly, then yawns. The silver wolf smiles again and rearranges her tail so that she is a bit more comfortable and warm, "You know that rabbits are pretty abundant in this area.. I saw three while you were gone." she murmmers - half lifting her head once more, this time it is to take a couple poppy seeds from the flower and gulp them down. Suddenly realizing that the snow was.. sort of.. a good thing, it would be hard to get to the river or stream for a drink like this. "Don't look at me like that, it wasn't moving very fast and it didn't even react to me."

His ears twitched up upon the mention of rabbits as he gulped down the last bite that he could take from the dead rat.

"I guess I could try to catch one later," He said. "But I gotta wait till my energy returns, nd plus, runni after eating males me sick." He gave her a goofy grin as he quietly stood up and pushed away the remains of the rat outside and buried it in the snow.

That way when it was starting to rot he wouldn't smell it - nor her. He turned around and walked back over to Malone, taking his seat again. "Well, I can't argue against that." He hummed as he lied down, head on paws with one hind leg held folded underneath his belly. "If you caught it, you caught it. I really appreciate the small meal." He sighed and then stared at the side of the cave wall, watching it intently for a few moments.

"How long do you think you should stay here? When he finds out that you had...because of me..." He trailed off, closing his golden eyes as he thought about his fate. Soldier didn't sound very merciful - maybe Lykaios wanted to live a little longer so he could make sure Malone would be happy.

Lykaios doesn't dream a lot. But right now, he wished he did.

Malone only nods again as the poppy takes hold, dulling the pain to almost non-existance. "Arn't you the strange one? Wolves aren't meant to run after they are full!" she teases lightly. But of course he wasn't full - how could he be? It was a... rat.. for pete sake! And, it was winter. None were ever full in winter. The silver wolf grins back, "You are welcome, anything I can do to help, I am happy to do."

Silence prevails for a bit, "We went over this, it is not your fault." she sighs. But of course, Lykaios would blame himself, he seems to be that sort of wolf, and besides a good wolf would feel guilty.. So he must be a good wolf.

"Soldier.. wont leave pack territory until he is certain that I am not there. It gives us a few days, maybe a quarter moon." a loooong pause before Mal speaks again, "Come fix my paw and then curl up in the nest, the floor is cold."

(AHAHAH sorry for how long it took for a respone, I was busy with Tokyo Ghoul hhh)

Lykaios twitched up his ears as he raised his head from his paws in a fluid motion. "I am quite strange indeed," He replied casually. "I liked running after eating, though sometimes I get nauseous."

There is a grin visible on his face - the barest of fangs peeking only slightly from his dark lips with amusement in his eyes. Yes, he much rather perfer if it was this sort of conversation. It was easy going, fluid and gentle, almost like a water current and he liked it. It wasn't bad, sitting down from time to time and having another wolf to talk to. He didn't lead the most social life there is.

"I can't help it," Is assured softly as he stood up and walked over to Malone, before taking a seat again. "And to think you made this nest for me! Hah, I've probably said this too many times already but thanks."

He worked gently on setting her paw - he's never done a thing like this before, but he knows how each bone slid into place by feeling around her paw with his own, never pressing too hard or so.

Her jaws are clamped shut to stiffle the sounds of agony, even though she'd already eaten herbs to dull said pain. "You.. sound like Sol, he says one must rest after eating so as to keep a full belly. I never felt like moving on or resting made you fuller though," is whispered into the gloom. Malone smiles and ducks her head, "Wasn't just for you, you know," is teased. Soon her paw is fixed and exaustion crashes over her once more.

The silver wolf scoots alittle more to the side, "You and I will have to squash - the nest isn't quite big enough otherwise." She was used to squashing with Soldier, the huge, dark, lone wolf. This male, who lives alone, probably wouldn't have squished much.. right?

(its ok, i only have amazing writing for one rp at the moment :p)

Soldier flicks his ears and follows her - his head pressed lightly against her fur, as if she were guiding him. When they enter the camp he pauses - as if not sure where to go and then follows again - having scooped up mouthfuls of snow on the way to the camp to state his thrist. A thirst which wasn't really because he was thirsty at all. Not really.

"I'll show you to the healer's den if you like..." Nebbia tells him softly and slowing down her steps. She lowered her sapphire gaze from the gloomy sky and back towards Soldier, looking for an answer. "Perhaps you could tech me a little bit of what a healer would do in certain situations?" Nebbia suggested with a tiny smile spreading arcades her face.
(I just finished watching the anime for that Baymax... I didn't like how that left off and now I'm searching for the manga :P))

(aha, the anime is cool on the animation but other than that it sucks. the manga is way better tbh)

Lykaios just listens to her speak, ears pulled forward and twitching at the reverbation of her voice. It's...soothing to him in a way, hearing the small she-wolf talk. He just gives her as much of a little smile that he can manage. "Is that so?" He questions. "I never considerd myself to be similar with others. I stick out when it comes to terms of my passion for knowledge." He hums in response. It's relaxed and only then does he realize what it reminds him of - it's been quite some time since he's seen his mother (the last he saw of her wasn't a pleasant memory), and it's been quite some time he's been able to let down his guard to an extent. He chuckles a bit at her tease, scooting over casually for the smaller wolf.

Soldier swallows as she slows - they are in the middle of camp, and wolves are looking at them. Is there still blood on his muzzle and paws from the fight? Hackles half raise in agression. "Yes, please." he answers her in a soft sort of way- scenting the air for tell-tail signs of Malone. Hmm.. "If that is your desire, but.. I have never been a gentle, or patient, teacher."

"Everyone is the same.. and different. Its why we find our.. soul-mates.." Green eyes are drifting shut again, though she despirately tries to keep them open. "G'night." she whispers, snuggling into the warmth the shaggy gray male provides - humming sleepilly in contentment. For Malone had decided that he is safe.

Nebbia glanced back at Soldier noticing his raised hackles, "At ease soldier..." she murdered before turning to give the other wolves that were staring a quick glare so they could get back to what they were doing. "Any way, I'm a decently fast learner so I doubt I'll be a bother for long." She smiled lightly as she spoke.
