five years ago, the world was brought to the brink of destruction, the human and pokemon races
almost wiped out completely. all thanks t o altra a group of thieves and criminals that wanted to
wield all power for themselves. complete control. a once peaceful region was torn apart by war
and hatred. although altra was eventually able to be stopped, the violence had already taken its
toll on the accio region, now a mere shadow of its former glory. many pokemon turned against
the rest of human-kind, unable and unwilling to trust them again. unable to continue living abov
e ground, the remaining human populous descended into abandoned train tunnels, creating new
underground cities with the help of the few pokemon that had come with them. the world above
is almost completely uninhibited by humans, allowing nature and pokemon alike to take over. th
e few brave souls that decide to journey topside do so at their own risk, and few ever return to t
ell the tale. there is little hope that accio can be restored to its form er glory, and yet there are
some that adamently refuse to give up believing in a better tomorrow. a better future in the land
above.

underground. the underground is a channel of abandoned train tunnels that serve as the new home
for surviving humans and the small number of pokemon that accompany them. most houses are ma
de of metal or wood and are typically small. the underground tends to be pretty minimal the peopl
e here using only the bare necessities needed for survival. there are no true cities here, only centra
l, north, east, south and west, referring to the center of the train station and the tunnels that branc
h off of it. some survivors have also taken to sleeping in the abandoned train cars.

prospernia city. once the pride and joy of accio, the grand city was one of the first to fall. now red
uced to mostly rubble, it's a great place to find absolutely nothing. a ghost town, the city holds ma
ny secrets and is guarded by a multitude of pokemon that use its rundown buildings as shelters.

ebony town. back when it was inhabited by people and pokemon alike, this town was known far and
wide for its psychic and ghost pokemon. now it is completely overrun with psychic and ghost pokem
on that subject any human that enters their territory to nightmares, and hallucinations. it's been sai
d that many people have gone mad just by being in close proximity to it.

amethyst city. with a large volcano at it's center, amethyst city is the home of nearly all the remain
ing dragon pokemon population. once friendly, the dragons are now cold and ruthless. they destroy
anything and anyone that gets in their way, virtually unable to be reasoned with as their power wa
s the driving force behind altra's attacks. typically the dragons stay in the forests and caves that c
an be found on the mountain range. very rarely is a dragon found far away from the mountains or
the city they tower over.

other areas. besides the main areas in accio there are many forests, lakes, and small villages dotting
the land. most are inhabited by aggressive pokemon, but some are completely and utterly abandoned.
although there is a canyon area of the region, no one has ever ventured that far, as it would take ge
tting over the mountains that surround amethyst city. it is said that on the other side of the mountai
ns is a refuge, an area of accio that was untouched by altra. whether this is true or not has neither
been confirmed nor denied.

i. at least two paragraphs are required per post, but feel free to write more if you'd like. writer's block
is understandable, but don't use it as an excuse to slack off.

ii. almost everyone in the roleplay will begin in the underground, though there will be one to two
roleplayers that can take slots for trainers living above ground. trainers that begin the roleplay above
ground can have a total of three pokemon. those that begin below ground will have either one, or no
pokemon depending on the roleplayer's choice. no pokemon breeds should be duplicated.

iii. no trainer should have a legendary or dragon type pokemon as their partner.

iv. please be as active as possible, and let us know if/when you're going to be unable to post for
a while.

v. any and all discussion and forms should be posted directly to the discussion and forms thread,
not this one.

vi. pokemon from every region are welcome to be used in the roleplay.

vii. there are a limited number of slots available. this is not a first-come first-serve basis though.
whoever submits a completed form for the position the want first will get it. reserves last 48 hours from
the time of the reserve. you will also be in charge of making your own forms.
