[Sacred Sin]

Jer grimaced as he remembered Josh's party. That night he had barely gotten out alive and he had been more or less half-naked, as his shirt had been torn off by those "fangirls." He inadvertently pulled up his pants, remembering what one of the girls had tried to do to get her hands on his boxer shorts. He shuddered, wondering whether popularity was really a curse in disguise.

"Ha! Watch me beat your sorry butt. I lost once today; I'm not going to do fail again." He caught the controller in his hand, barely looking up, his thumb sliding over one of the smooth, large buttons. He raised a challenging eyebrow. "Be prepared to take me to the nicest restaurant in town." He chuckled, flushing a little as she talked about his a**.

"And I'm not fussy. I just don't think Bella is the right one for me." He groaned, smacking his forehead. "And I don't really believe she's was all that into me. After all, I didn't even go on a single date with her." He sighed. "I feel like a shmuck though." He smirked as she made a clawing action directed to his abs and felt a little rush in his heart.

"Oh my god!" Jer yelled, getting to his feet. "If you had a night as bad as last one, taking aside Jack's uhh...cheating, then I can't even imagine how Fabian handled it...or Van." His eyes widened and he felt a wave of guilt. "We really are terrible big bros." He ran a hand through his hair and glanced at the phone. "I have Shade's number, should I call?"

Shade scowled, flashing Fabian the middle finger and then flushed. "You would tell me...err...if I did anything really bad right?" He brushed back his crimson-colored hair, and then nodded. "I want chinese food." He pouted, letting his lower lip slide out a little. Van let out a soft snore and he glanced over at her, glad that she was able to get some rest.

He turned back to Fabian. "Looks like she'll be alright. I have to admit; I'm kind of glad she gave up on Sunda." He said, rather seriously, his icy blue eyes thoughtful. He returned to his regular sharp self and rolled his eyes. "You have legs and arms. You can get to the kitchen and make something."

Sunda.

"Yeah..Jacks cheating." She mumbled as she faded off int her mind, her brain rolling the memory of last night in her mind. Her heart gave a painful thump as she remembered throwing open the door to reveal Jacks transgression. 'The way he was touching her...the way he was kissing her...that was how he caressed me. Was I just some sl*t in a room to him? Did I really mean so little?' She whispered within her thoughts, her self-esteem had taken a big hit last night, it would be awhile until the Sunda, Jer knew to be back.

"You should call." She quipped monotonously as she returned to the game, landing a quick couple points as Jer fussed over the trio.

"We can get Chinese in town down the shops, but it's so busy, stupid elections. Though, their paying me to hand out flyers for gay-marriage tomorrow. Go the Greens I guess" Fabian exclaimed and waved his hands slightly, though it wasn't very enthusiastic, he hated sometimes being one of the only gay kids in town, him and Shade were a rare thing in the valley where they lived.

Fabian sat up slowly and groaned as he rubbed his sore back, he looked at Shade. "Of course I would tell you!" He exclaimed brightly to Shade's first question, but he didn't ever plan on telling Shade about how he kissed him, that would just make things really awkward between them.

He looked at his arms and legs for a second and then frowned. "But Fabey does not want to get up, Fabey wants to go to sleep and be fed when he wakes up by his Wife Shade" He said seriously, talking in third person for no reason, but having fun with it none the less, he smiled widely and cocked his head to one side.

Jer let out a soft curse as she scored points while he was worrying over their younger friends. He whistled gently and let his thumb flash across the controller, pushing buttons in impossible combinations, his speed unbelievable. He eased up a little as the phone, now pressed against his shoulder and ear so his hands were free, rang in three, long trills. He tapped his foot to the sound of the theme music of the game he and Sunda were playing and rested one eye on the screen.

He gave Sunda a quipped look as she murmured about Jack and instantly regretting even bringing it up. A voice spoke on the other line and he returned his attention to the phone, hoping that their friends hadn't gotten into too much trouble the night before.

Shade felt a vibration in his pant pocket, and slid his hand in, his ringtone blasting, "Cooler Than Me," as it demanded he pick it up. He glanced at the caller and let a small smirk cross his face. Jer.

"Heeello?" He said, voice as bubbly as usual. Jer's velvety voice responded, giving Shade more or less a little thrill. He was gay after all and Jer was a fine piece of work. He chuckled as the older boy rushed over a string of apologies about the night before. Shade interrupted. "It's all good. I got drugged from a beer, but I got Fabe and Van out in one piece." He paused, eyebrows furrowing. "How's Sunda?" Jer seemed to hesitate too and finally murmured a soft reply, making Shade believe that Sunda was with Jer currently. He wondered briefly if Jer had found out Sunda's secret.

A few minutes later, the conversation was over and Shade set his phone down on the coffee table. He raised a sarcastic eyebrow, pouting. "Why can't the boy who was drugged mercilessly be the one to sleep and wake up to food?" He growled, getting up and heading to the kitchen. He proceeded to make a simple omelet with mushrooms and some sausage, along with a generous supply of cheddar cheese. He dumped the plate on Fabe's lap with a smile.

Sunda.

Sunda rolled onto her back, staring up at the game upside-down; giving a grunt of annoyance as Jer's skillful fingers tapped buttons with a precision she lacked. Sunda was just a key masher, after all. "What did they say?" She muttered distractedly "They all alive? Virginity's intact?" She quipped with a snicker at the last part.

Jer huffed a sigh. "Looks like Shade was drugged by a beer bottle. He seemed pretty cool about it over the phone but he seemed a little shaken up. I think he knows something happened that Van and Fabe aren't telling him." He shrugged, placing down the phone and fixing his gaze to the game screen, eyes narrowed in concentration as his slender fingers flashed across the controller, hitting buttons at an unbelievable speed once more. He wasn't about to take her on a date and have to pay.

"But nothing too bad happened. Like us, they're ditching school today." His velvety voice was colored with amusement.

Sunda.

Sunda gave a grunt as she turned over once more, her mind set on winning this game; we did not want to be paying for this date, Jer ate like a horse. "So, how 'bout you take me to that nice steak restaurant in town?" She ribbed him playfully as she continued mashing the keys together, her eyebrows furrowing in concentration 'I am not losing this! By Jesus I'll flash him if I have to!' She cried mentally, thinking about how much of a hit her wallet would take if she failed to win. "Heh! Maybe I'll even wear a dress and kiss you goodnight at the door!" And to seal the deal on her plan to distract Jer into losing, she pressed her lips tenderly to his tan check.

"Ooh, cheese" Fabian squealed as his food was dumped on his his lap and he looked up at Shade and beamed hugely and winked. "Thank you wife" He said earnestly and grinned ever wider before winking. He quickly looks back at his food and began to shovel it into his mouth as if he hadn't eaten for years. He blinked a few times happily at the flavor, his own family usually cooked German or Italian food, because that was what they were. His mother was Italian and his Father was German. Fabian came from a German name, but his mother had twisted the pronunciation and put the 'O' on the end for it to be more Italian.

"Fabian likes this food" He stated and nodded twice before grinning rather largely and scratching his head. He put a bit more into his mouth and took a great gulp and smiled. He gave a happy little wiggle, his back lancing with pain as he did so. He winced and then kept eating quietly, not a bubbly now.

Jer grinned and scored a bonus of two hundred points with a twirl of the controller stick and a push of the buttons. He winked at Sunda, his sandy colored eyes flickering to hers before shooting back to the game screen. "As if, you'll be the one paying for tonight's dinner." He poked out his tongue and snickered as she joked about wearing a dress. An image flashed across his mind; Sunda in a stunning sapphire blue dress, one that was rather short and had a swooping, v-neck back. The picture sort of turned him on and he pushed it away, feeling a flush enter his cheeks.

He was so absorbed in the game that he didn't notice her leaning into kiss him. His eyes widened into amber moons as her lips pressed against his cheek. His mouth sort of popped open and he turned to look at her, distracted.

Shade chuckled and shoveled in his smaller portion of the omelet, finding that he had made it exactly perfect. He grinned to himself and chewed on a juicy mushroom thoughtfully. He glanced back at Fabe. "Yes, cheeeeeeese." He laughed, extending the "e" onto into a long, bubbly giggle.

He slumped in the couch, and stared at the blank TV screen before turning it on and clicking through the channels. "Nothing good is on." He pouted, feeling rather upset and disappointed.
