When a character has additional art, do you feel that it raises it's value? Does it make you more inclined to buy the character, or pay more for it?

yeah!!
i'm not necessarily more inclined to buy it if it has art uvu
like, if i sold an oc with 100+ pieces of art [like lynt for example [though i'm not selling him anytime soon haha], especially if i paid for/drew most of it myself, then i'd expect a high price in return
