she purred then made sure her kits were sleeping before stepping to the side so she and Riverpaw could talk. "So, what brings you down here my friend?"she asked kindly wondering how her friend was doing.

RiverPaw sighed, her smile fading."StormCloud, you must be in the battle today, even if it means trusting your kits to another." She meowed quietly.

Russetstripe quietly walked into the warriors den trying not to wake up anybody. He then suddenly noticed Sundapple, and quickly padded over to her. He nudged her shoulder a little to wake her up. "Sundapple," he whispered.

she turned serious as Riverpaw spoke. she gave a quick look to her kits. "But what is something was to happen...?" she looked back at Riverpaw. "I trust the clan with my life, but the clan could be attacked by anything while we are gone..." she curled her tail around her paws tightly. "I do want to fight along side my clanmates..." he looked at her kits one more time and let out a sigh. "I will fight to protect them, and every other cat in this clan and and every kit to be born in this clan."

"Umm...well do you still want to go on that hunt?" he whispered to her.

RiverPaw sighed."StormCloud, your kits will be protect at all time. No creature will lay a paw on them. I promise." She reassured her.

Russetstripe quickly followed her and walked across camp. He padded next her while they walked through the camp entrance.

She nodded her head. "I put them in starclans paws, I will fight." She said flicking her tail after she spoke. "After I'm done with that bear it won't even have time to regret coming here." Her eyes shinned with determination. This would be a fight we could not, would not lose. The bear was bigger and stronger yes, but if her clan worked together as one she knew that they would win.
