Samantha had already begun to change, the air wrapping around her creating a tornado and when her figure reapeared she wore a dark blue outfit trimmed in gold. In her full rose form her eyes screamed bright blue and her sword appeared at her side, in its sheath. She never used her sword unless it came to hand and hand combat instead of using their powers. Samantha used her air to give Yami's shadows a speed boost.

((err I have no idea if I did that right or if that can happen in this RP but I can change this post if I need to ^^; ))

Yami yawned boredly, "I'm not scared of a 3rd year." She was already changing into rose form as the shadows started to surround her in a threatening way, even though no pain was ever inflicted by Yamis shadowy friends. She called herself the Joker after a comic that she used to read. American, but then again Americans interested her greatly, just as they were interested in Japan. Her book soon disapeared and was replaced by a silver staff with a black glass heart on it, with something swirling inside of it. That something was the base of all her power and shadows. Her thin fingers soon had thing black gloves on them and her whole uniform had changed into a white and black outfit, with the exception of her eyes and hair. After her full Rose came out, she said with a smirk on her face, "Ladies first." With a simple move of the heel of her foot, a river of shadows seemed to surround her. She held her staff tightly and mumbled, "Kōgeki." This meant attack. "Now it's time to play," Yami said as the shadows raced to Valentine.

{{Yes, I know in the picture that teh staff is gold, but to match her outfit, it has to be silver. :3}}

Valentine only smirked and followed suit, changing into his own Rose form. Gradually he grew taller, thinner, as though he had been stretched out. The color seemed to seep from his skin and his eyes flared up a bloody red, a blackness spreading over his uniform like an infection, thin blue strips racing down the sides and bandages criss-crossed every so often. The spike in his hand began to morph into a gun as the same bandages crawled up his neck and wrapped themselves around the one eye, making it somehow much easier to aim should he choose to give the handgun a scope. As the shadows approached he quickly jumped to the side nimbly, firing the gun a few times. The bullets morphed mid-air into less harmful, slightly slower ammunition. After all, he wasn't trying to kill her.

At the sound of the gun firing, Samantha pulled out her sword and ran ahead easily blocking the bullets and racing ahead, advancing torward the enemy her blue eyes beginning to give a demon effect. She barely touched the ground the air giving her a boost. Right before she reached Valentine she jumped and fliped over him, with the help of the air, and yelled to Yami, "Catch!" Hoping Yami would use her shadows to engulf him as Samantha came from behind and pushed him with her feet.

Yami just dropped into a pool of shadows on the ground as the bullets whizzed right past her. Standing up again, her eyes having no emotion in them. She simply thought a command the the shadows engulfed Valentine. She breathed slowly, letting the shadows move swiftly and effectively. Sam was in the air as Yami flashed a glance her way, but she was dangerously close, as she could already tell that Valentine could attack closely and over distance. Her staff was in her hand, and was being held tightly, as if she weren't going to let anything come near it.

Samantha dropped to the ground on her feet, sticking the landing. She ran back over to Yami and saw how she clutched the staff. Samantha wouldn't let Valentine anywhere near them. In Samantha's eyes the demon look faded away for a minute as she thought that she and Yami might make a cool team. Then her mind wandered about to thinking about if they had tem-up type things at the school.

Valentine glanced at the shadows as they rose up around him and pulled off an elaborate backwards flip, landing just outside their range, and fired a few more bullets. The originals, which should have hit the ground after being deflected, flew after Samantha while the new ones darted in Yami's direction. The boy grinned with a fire in his eyes, enjoying the tempo of the fight and skill of his two opponents. He almost considered bending Samantha's sword or, assuming it was metal, Yami's staff but quickly dismissed the idea. He was having too much fun, and of course his cockiness was getting the better of him.

Samantha pulled away from her thoughts in time to duck and dodge the bullets. Her long hair flailing around her, she wipped the wind up from around her and at a high speed ran towards Valentine. Holding her blade with both hands she brought it up from her side and striked him.

The shadows from around Valentine immediately disapeared and had come back to Yami. Again she disapeared onto the earth, but this time, coming up around Samantha as she moves, protecting her from the bullets that were coming from all directions at the two girls. Yami had just become Samanthas armor. Yami couldn't see anything or even feel anything. All she knew was that she had surrounded Samantha in a shadow and she was elsewhere.

((Okay, good to know.xD Good thing I didn't fail and make him try.>_>'))

Valentine smirked as he watched Yami form a shield around Samantha, amused by the display of power, and used his gun to block the oncoming blow from the air-Rose's sword. He quickly jumped back afterward to avoid any counters and shot violently at the shield, knowing it would have to give eventually.

Samantha thanked Yami silently and threw her sword in the air. She then used the air to keep it up there and waited to see if Valentine would look up at it.
