He heard the small chime of a bell when the door had opened then closed. He noticed Sugar Plum but didn't really pay much mind to her and continued to look outside while sipping his vanilla spice. He glanced at the female again and she appeared to be rather nervous with all the staring while standing next to the counter. He felt rather bad and most likely wouldn't want to be in that awkward situation either. "Would you like to sit with me?" He offered kindly.

> Sugar Plum's ears pricked up as she heard someone talking to her. She looked deep into the Squill's eyes and found love and warmth for a second, but then pulled her eyes to his face. She smiled and gave a shy nod before sitting down at the booth at the other end of it. "Thank you so much. May I ask what you're name is?" she asked, her heart fluttering with the same love and warmth that was in his eyes.

He blinked for a moment before speaking, "My name is Spice, what is yours?" He asked. He then felt his nose twitch and he rubbed it with his paw. Though that didn't help at all. He sneezed loudly into his mittens. He then took them off and set them aside. "Ah, sorry about that. It's just a simple winter cold." He told her before rubbing his twitching nose.

> "Ah, that's a nice name," she said. "I'm Sugar Plum." Then Spice sneezed, and Sugar Plum flinched, but then realized that it was only a sneeze. "It's okay," she reassured him. "Here, have a piece of bread, it might warm you up." The Squill pushed the plate holding three slices of cinnamon bread on it towards him, and beckoned him with a flick of her tail to take some. He must have been hungry with only a drink and no food.

He couldn't get his nose to stop twitching from time to time so he gave up. He then looked up to see Sugar Plum offering him her food. "Oh that's very kind of you but I can't just take your food that you bought yourself. Don't worry, I can get food myself." He said, kindly declining her offer. To him, it wouldn't feel right for her to give him all her food that she bought to enjoy.

> "Of course," Sugar Plum said, blushing as she pulled the plate back towards her. Sugar Plum ate her food quietly and politely, and when she was done wiped her face with a napkin. "Again, thank you so much for letting me sit with you," she said, then added, "Maybe I'll see you again sometime?" Sugar Plum took hold of her empty plate and started to get up from the booth.

He noticed Sugar Plum's blush and flicked an ear. He didn't know what to make of it so he left it alone. "It was no problem really. I just feel bad that you had to sit with a sick squill like myself. Hopefully next time it'll go better when I'm not sick of course." He said before rubbing his nose again. "I wouldn't mind meeting up again. Maybe it'll be fun." He said, giving a gentle smile before getting up as well. He took his cup and threw it away. He then went back to put on his mittens and headed out the door. He walked down a snow-covered sidewalk and eventually reached a nice, cozy home which he had entered and closed the door behind him.

Also, I'm going to make Sugar Plum move into Spice's neighborhood.

> "No, no, I'm totally fine with that!" Sugar Plum said. "I get sick all of the time," she added. When Spice left, she whispered, "Of course we can meet up again." The Squill smiled and got up from the booth, heading her way out the door and into the frostiness of the outside. A cold and crisp breeze swept across her face, and a large truck passed that said, 'Dick & Co's Moving Company. Call 934-776-421 now to set up your proposition!'. She had thought about moving out of her small apartment and into a house in a neighborhood close to the diner. She walked to her apartment room, opened the lock, and rushed to her phone. She punched in the numbers, '934'...

He wandered through his house and eventually decided to stay in the living room. He laid down on the couch and took off his hat, mittens, and scarf. He laid them neatly on the coffee table and let out a sigh of contentment as he relaxed. Whenever winter came, he seemed to always get something to make him sneeze or cough uncontrollably. He rolled onto his back and rested his head on the armrest of the couch and drifted off into a small nap.
