Jaywing laughed. "You are awkward." She said softly, she leaned her head on his shoulder.

hailgaze shrugged with a purr then glanced at her. "i've learned from the best." he teased playfully.

heronpaw got to her paws in the medicine cat den and slowly trotted out. she slowly slunk to willowstar's den. "willowstar?" she meowed, and without hesitating, practically leaped into her den. "We need to talk."

Jaywing rolled her eyes. She pushed her nose into the fur on his shoulder for a moment.

Willowstar looked across at the apprentice "About what?"

heronpaw sighed. "something bad has happened. i feel it." she meowed. "i heard roars when i was out in the forest today- louder roars than you could hear. you've heard the story of feathertail and sharptooth... this sounded much louder than that-.." she warned, as if she had witnissed the deaths of cats because of canyonswoop.
