Caspian tried his best to keep from laughing. "okay, okay. Just stop squirming." he said. Je went over and tried to help Bryan get untangled from the overalls.

Okami stood and put her hands in her pockets. "S-sorry. I couldn't help." She muttered softly. She cast her blue eyes down at her feet and removed one of her hands from her pockets.

Bryan tried his best not to squirm as Capsian helped him. When he was untangled, he wiggled free and panted. He thanked Caspian before looking at the girl. For once, the girl didn't remind him of anyone from his past. He smiled a bit and said, "it's alright." He stood up and twitched, but ignored it and picked up the overalls. "These need to be burned."

(He can bump into Jake and Carter if he raids an apartment building.)

Okami giggled softly and nodded. She shyly held out her hand, "I'm Okami." She looked up briefly to take a better look at who she was speaking to.

Kirito quickly left the mall. His mind was focusing on a place that he could find a good place to rest and eat. An apartment, maybe?

"Why do they even can cherries? What's the purpose of cherries that are canned?" Carter grumbled, stuffing three crackers at a time in his mouth. They were dry, but fulfilling, so he couldn't complain. He noticed Jake wavering at the counter, and his displeasure at the food choices was quickly replaced by a teasing smile. He didn't say anything, though, keeping his thoughts to himself.

Caspian nodded slightly in response to the thanks and smiled a little at the comment about the overalls. He looked at the girl as she held out her hand and introduced herself as Okami.

Bryan shook her hand and said, "I'm Bryan. And this is Caspian, my life partner." He laughed, kicking the overalls aside. "Just kidding, we met yesterday." He then looked around. "Now to find a lighter..."

Jake shrugged as he opened the can. "Maybe some person who liked cherries was some apocalypse lover and decided he wanted cherries during an apocalypse?"

Okami giggled once more, "Nice to meet you." She looked up once more with confidence. "I need to find a group myself." She muttered. The thought to join a group had crossed her mind several times.

"Yeah, but where are they now, I wonder?" Carter murmured quietly, glancing towards the door. Anxiety overcame him in waves suddenly, but he tried his best to shake it off. The apartment was well-stocked, why would someone just leave it? Was this the base of some other, possibly more powerful group? The thought that someone could barge in at any moment didn't sit well with him. "I-I'm gonna lock the door real quick. It's getting dark, so who knows what might be wandering the streets, y'know? Maybe someone'll have the same idea as us." Carter hopped down from the counter and headed towards the door.
