[Swiftie.]

Jason laughs. "Sweet!" He says, taking the candies. "You're still crazy though," he says, popping another piece in his mouth and laying the wrapper on her stomach as the sun keeps sinking under the horizon.

Katie shrugged, "Guess I'll just have to live with being crazy then." She grinned as she pushed the wrapper off of her stomach. "So, why do you like it so much out here?"

Jason points at the spot where the sun has just disappeared under the horizon. "That view right there. I've been to several places around here and none offer a better view of the sunset than this area. I figured that out one night when some friends and I had a bonfire out here. Wouldn't you agree on how beautiful it is?" Jason smiles.

[Swiftie.]

Katie nods. "It is, it really is." She placed her head on the side of her shoulder, closing her eyes, letting it all soak in.

[JrB]

"It's just so peaceful out here," Jason says as the nocturnal critters make themselves heard while he looks up and sees the stars come out.

[Swiftie.]

Katie opens her eyes. "I could literally just go to sleep right here." She chuckles, fidgeting her fingers on the ground. She lifts her head up from her shoulder, watching the sky.

[ wb. I don't even know what say it is oops. it could be a school night, and they just forget. idk. I'm trying to think. ]

"This place is my special area," Jason says. "I just come out here for everything. If my team loses, I come out here to let my frustrations out. Get in an argument, I come out here to calm down. Girl breaks up with me, I come out here to let it all out. I don't know what it is about this place, it's just somewhere I can always come to. I swear, if I ever met the girl of my dreams, I'd probably marry her out here."

[Swiftie.]

Katie nods, standing herself up. "You're way different than I thought you would be." She turned and walked to the jeep digging in the back. She pulled a small blue blanket out to sit on. She looks at him as she lays it out, "I only have this in there for nights when I get mad at my dad and just leave." She smiles a fake enough smile, sitting down. "You can sit on it if you'd like, it's clean."

"Really?" Jason wonders. "How did you think I was?" After Katie sets the blanket out, he acts like a dog, sniffing it, then circling a spot, then curls up on there, (hopefully) to her amusement.

[Swiftie.]

Katie shakes her head, "and you call me crazy." She patted his head, as if her were Max. Then changed back to the topic, lowering herself to where her back was on the blanket, looking at the sky. "I don't know, just different."

Jason looks at Katie as she rubs his head. "If only I had a tail," he jokes, then returns to the main topic as well. "I hope that doesn't run you off or anything. Just things that I've been through, is all."
