"No problem, Lyr," I smiled wearily, suddenly thoroughly worn out. "I'm gonna go to bed, but you can stay up if you want. I think there's a book in the living room if you want to read something," I offered with a smile before sliding to my room and collapsing on the bed.

I couldn't find the energy to go to sleep. I know that sounds weird but it was true. I ended up reading that book till I finally fell asleep a 4 in the morning.

When I wake up in the mornings, I have a tendency to forget anything that happened the night before until I've officially woken up, so when I walked into my living room and saw Lyr sprawled out on my couch, book in hand and snoring, I was very much massively confused. Then I remembered she stayed the night and doesn't have a place to stay. Before I got too far ahead of my still half-asleep self, I decided to make breakfast. I warmed up a pot of coffee and began making cinnamon rolls. I sighed quietly. I am not a morning person.

Lux managed to squirm free and bounced around their feet like a pup. Seryn shook her head, "He behaves more like a puppy than an an actual otter." She dropped a small orb of water on the ground and Lux began to splash around in it. "It isn't that he doesn't like you," she gave a small smile.

When I finally woke up, I started cleaning the house. I cleaned, and cleaned, and cleaned, till everything was spotless. I finished by doing the dishes.
