Payton looked at them. "I can never say thank you enough. I am truly forever thankful, you guys have helped me so many times." Her words were true. She was grateful. Taking deep breaths she tried to calm her quickening heart. "I still have yet to know why they want you Emma... I believe they want Donovan for his good skills to keep him locked up, and they know he protects you."

Emma and Donovan shared a swift glance. "Well, one possibility is my powers. They aren't exactly the most common. However, it's more likely that they want me for my past..." She said, trailing off. She thought back to her many trials at the Orphanage. She frowned at the memories and brought herself back to the present. "And as for Donovan, they would want him for his powers and skills. He makes for a strong opponent, and a stronger ally." She said. Donovan smiled down at Payton. "And it's not like we weren't going to help you. What are friends for, right?"

Payton bit her lip at hearing the word friend. Her heart sank, she curled up. "When I feel better I'll protect you both at all costs."

"We'll protect each other." Emma piped up. "We're all we've got." She leaned forward and hugged Payton and Donovan at the same time. She lingered there for a moment, grateful for their company. She pulled back and resumed her happy grin. "So, how are you feeling Payton?" She asked, ready to continue the healing process if needed.

"I feel so much better thank you, I'm sore but I'll be alright." She hugged Donovan before standing up and hugging Emma. She closed her eyes, "Thank you for everything but i need to go gear up.. before they find me.. so I can protect myself, you and your brother can tag along though if you'd like." She said with a cheerful smile, she slipped on her shoes, she wasn't feeling too great but she felt as if she had felt worse before.
