Gilbert slyly looked at Alek, and the glanced at Caelan. He smiled a little and scratched his neck. "I received a letter from Bill and Fleur this morning, they're comming to Hogsmeade to get me tonight. . .I can ask if you can come with me." He toyied with the hem of his robes looking at the floor. He was blushing again.

Alek paused for a minute, before smiling briefly. He had agreed to stay over the break, mainly because he wanted to avoid the inevitable horde of distant relatives that would appear at his house during the holidays. He began to dig around in his pockets, pulling out a handful of assorted coins. "I don't have any galleons, so would," he paused, counting, "fourteen sickles be ok?"

At Gilbert's words, he looked up, "Would they be ok with that? I'd love to, but only if they agree."

"That's fine, any generosity is appreciated."

Gilbert smiled and pulled a hand full of dull gold coins from his pocket and shyly dropped them into the bucket, before looking at Alek. "Fleur will fuss all over you, Aunt Molly too. I don't think they'd mind. The more the merrier. You'll probably get a Weasley sweater." He fumbled with his robes some more.

"Heh, you're right about that. I might as well come too, I've got some shopping to do, and it'll be nice to see Mrs. Weasley again."

Alek gaped at the handful of galleons Gilbert had put in the bucket, before shaking his head slightly and putting his own into Caelan's bucket. Returning the remaining coins, mainly knuts, to his pocket, he turned towards Gilbert. Smiling, he replied, "Thanks, I was afraid I would have to spend my break alone in the Hufflepuff common room."

Gilbert smiled rather happily. "So you'll walk with me. And I hope you like food, there's going to be a lot of it." He looked between the two males and blushed realizing he was acting silly.
