What was your first Rare?

This was my first rare - I was lucky enough to adopt this one in my first lot of adopted pets. Adopted on the 21st August - the day I joined... I had no idea about rarities back then, though, and when I read the boards I wondered what all the fuss was about the green butterwolf. I'd got one without having to trade for it, so I didn't realise how scarce they were.



I've had a few rares from the pound, but this is by far my most special pound gift:

When she appeared on the pound page I stared at her for what felt like an age - unable to quite believe she was really there. And then I woke up and clicked like mad on her link... I felt so very lucky to get her. She is very special to me, and always will be.

when I first adopted from the site back in July '09 (my how time flies!) one of my wolfies got PPS. and my friend, who's been on for longer then me, told me that she was incredibly rare. I was soooooo happies! I literally did a happy dance. His name is ferret and I still have him...

I got the puppy dog in my signature from the pound. I'd never seen it before and there were about 500 pets left so I got it. I figured it was just a early '09 Uncommon or somthing, I was SOOO exited when I saw that is was an '08 rare!!!

Kimba here was my first rare. I was estatic when I realized that this kitten was different from the others. I couldnt wait for it to grow up. I didnt expect a lioness, thats for sure! I was even more happy when I saw she was rare. Kimba is just awesome. <3

Haha! Ya right now I have two I think......

her name's Forest, and she was actually my very FIRST pet, since I joined at the end of May!
Now I have... 2 or 3 rares?? I dunno really! But I do know that I have 3 lions now!!

My very first very rare, and I adopted it, not traded for it! I didn't know how rare it was until I got a bunch of trade offers. I went to her page and squealed when I saw her rarity! She is so special to me, I'll never, ever trade her!
