(I think we're going to go ahead and start.

It's been about half an hour since the power failed. All the regular cell blocks have been liberated and there's fighting everywhere as officers try to take control. Prisoners, you'll all be meeting in the warehouse that is controlled by prisoners and forming your group. It's ok if characters knew each other before the break out. It'll make it more believable that they want to band together. Officers, you're all in security HQ trying to come up with a plan to contain the chaos and get the power up again. Everyone should review the information pages, especially the news page, so get a full understanding of the state of the prison. Once things get rolling, situations will change and I'll probably throw random events into the mix to keep things interesting. Here we go!)
Rebecca Henry
Officer : The Officer Worker : 25
It didn't take long for everything to go to hell. With the power down and most security protocols deactivated, it didn't take long for the prisoners to get out. Rebecca saw it all, right up until the auxiliary power cut out as well and all the monitors - their only safe view into the chaos outside - all blinked out at once. Now she swung around a flashlight and barked orders at her team of officers responsible for camera monitoring. No one knew what to do. Everyone was scared.
"Ok, ok! Everyone quiet down!"
Slowly the confused and angry voices died down.
"This is disgraceful. All of you acting like civilians. Pull yourselves together! We have an emergency that needs to be taken care of, and nothing is going to get done if all of you are panicking! With auxiliary down, there's not much we can do. I need to meet with the senior officers, but until then I need all of you to get to the safe rooms and wait for further instructions. Now get moving!" she said.
Slowly the group began filing out of the security offices. Becca sighed. She understood their frustration. They were in charge of telling everyone what was going on out there, but now their eyes had been gouged out, and no amount of tampering with the equipment could get them working again. They had no choice but the wait. Rebecca grabbed some extra batteries for her flashlight and started heading towards the conference room where all the department heads would no doubt be gathering to try and come up with a plan.
Castor Fairfield
Prisoner : The Arson : 21
Every prisoner fantasizes about a jailbreak, but never in his wildest dreams had Castor imagined it would be this dramatic. This chaotic. It was beautiful. Better than any fire. The only thing more uncontrollable than raw flames were raw people. Raw, angry people who had been locked up and powerless for far too long. It was amazing. Castor didn't stay long to bask in the glow, however. Just like fire, people were dangerous when one wasn't prepared. If he was going to survive this, he was going to need a weapon. Word had passed from prisoner to prisoner that one of the supply warehouses had been taken. The officers were more on guard now and were fighting harder to keep the prisoners from taking other buildings, but for now this one warehouse was theirs. Maybe there would be something useful in it. Castor followed a mob of people, a river of orange, through the dark and sounds of shouting and gunfire, towards Warehouse 1.
