Brie Thomas • Water Elemental • Trying to exit the crash

Brie jolted awake, breathing heavily. She couldn't see anything save for a few sparks and dark forms twisting around. Her breath came in short gasps as she struggled to remember what happened. All she could glean from her memory was the explanation of a short trip through...a teleporter? Was that what they had called it? Either way, it didn't seem as if the experiment had worked out. Fumbling with her safety harness, Brie clicked the metal latch and fell forward onto the floor of the vessel. It was large enough to fit a group of people about her age, but she wasn't sure that she knew anyone in here. She couldn't make out faces, but she didn't feel it necessary to host a meet and greet. Brie was starting to get anxious in the cloudy surroundings. Making her way to the door, she joined what looked like a couple others in pressing on the metal hatch. With their combined strength, the door bent open, letting in rays of light and momentarily blinding Brie. She stumbled forward onto what felt like moss, breathing in the fresh air. Brie wasn't claustrophobic, but she really did not like being enclosed for too long. "Anyone hurt? Anyone know where we are?" she called, stumbling to her feet. She couldn't see any sign of technology save for the wreckage of the machine.

Jasper Grey • Wind Elemental • Dazed and Confused

Jasper awoke to a cry for help. He shook his head, trying to get his bearings. A light pierced the cabin from the open hatch, and he could barely make out the other people in the cabin. The person yelling was just below him, trying to work through a mess of wires, blood all over her face and hand. At once, Jasper clicked the lock on his safety harness. Falling to the ground with a thud, he stood up and immediately hit his head on the low ceiling. "Christ," he muttered, rubbing the back of his head. "Hey, are you alright?" he said, putting a hand on the panicked girl's shoulder. Tearing a piece of fabric off of the sleeve of his jumpsuit, Jasper put his hand to the girl's nose, trying to stop the flow of blood. Looking around, Jasper could see some of the others were able to exit the cabin of the ship from the front door. He searched the back portion of the cabin, looking for an emergency exit or something to cut the wires with. A red lever was situated on the wall next to the seats. "If you help me pull this, we might be able to get out this way," he said, looking to the girl. "I can't see anything to break the wires with, so this looks like our best bet."

Naomi

The girl looked up as a male crawled over to her. She frowned up at him, blinking away tears. "Y-yeah...I'm ok...just my nose. And my head." She said, a little nasally as the male had placed cloth over her bleeding nose to slow it down. She looked over to the lever and nodded, slowly taking the cloth from him. "What's your name..?" She asked him, crawling over to the lever and pulling at it a bit. It didn't budge much and she winced as the strain made her head throb with pain. "I'm Naomi...but you can call me Nao." She said, still fully realizing that now probably wasn't the best time to exchange personal info. She gave it another hard tug but it once again didn't budge much.

The male looked back as another female came to help and just sat there and watched as they opened the door, wincing at the bright light. He felt pretty bad for just watching them do the work and not even helping. He'd have to make it up to them later. He crawled out of the transporter, coughing a bit. The ground was soft and a little bit wet. Was this..moss..? He blinked before crawling out more an standing up with a bit of a groan, he narrowed his eyes at they got used to the new light. As soon as they did he looked around, jaw dropping slightly. It was gorgeous. Nothing like hed ever seen. But where exactly were they

Evvie felt her spirits lifting when three of the others from the experiment approached the door, all looking as dazed and confused as she did. At there questions she simply shrugged and shook her head, trying to tell them that she didn't know what was going on any more than they did. At last another girl approached and started to help with the door, and with a loud grinding sound, the door swung forward. Evvie toppled forward and out of the wreckage, landing, for the third time that day, rather uncomfortably on the ground. Dazed, she lay where fell, and cast her gaze skyward. The light was blinding as she sucked in lungful after lungful of fresh air, and she clutched the grassy ground beneath her. At the other girl's question she stood back up, and surveyed the scene in front of her before responding, "I don't know how any of us could have gotten through that with no injuries, but I think that for the most part we're okay. But the real question is, is there anyone left inside?" she questioned, immediately heading back over to the open door of the craft.

Rhys tumbled out of the device after the others, landing ungracefully next to the wreckage. With a slight groan, he got back to he feet, not wanting to stay sitting for too long in case he needed to make a break or - all of a sudden Rhys felt his breath catch. He gazed, open mouthed at the open world in front of him. There were mountains, and rivers, and a waterfall, and fresh, clean air. Rhys inhaled deeply, a wide smile spreading across his face. In the background he heard voices talking, but he was too caught up in admiring the view to really register them. He felt a swelling in his chest and with a whoop he jumped up and punched at the air, before whirling back to face the others, exclaiming, "How are you all so calm about this? We're free! No more scientists, no more experiments, no more suffering!"

Brie Thomas • Water Elemental • Gazing in Wonder

Brie shook her head in amazement as she took in her surroundings. They had crashed atop what looked like a hill, raised slightly above forested land. She could see a river winding around through the trees, and she immediately felt better. Water had always calmed her down, even before she realized that she could control it. Feeling a slight twinge of pain on her right arm, she looked down to see a slight trickle of blood darkening the arm of her jumpsuit. It was a small cut, but it stung all the same. Kneeling down, Brie drew some of the moisture from the moss and grass below her feet and directed it towards her arm. The stream of water started to glow, sealing the wound. The move left her winded, and she could only fix minor injuries, but it was a start, and something she had never let the scientists find out. The scientists! For the first time in months, Brie couldn't see any scientists milling about, prodding her with needles or keeping her in a dull cell. She may be in some foreign land or universe, but she was free. She could see some of the others tumbling out of the wreckage and forgot her jubilee. There were people who still needed her help. "Well, if anyone has cuts or bruises, I can fix them," she said to the others, trying to localize the enormity of everything that had just happened. It was too much to comprehend all at once, but in bits and pieces, perhaps she could handle it. She would distract herself by helping others; it was what she had done for her whole life, and she saw no reason to stop now.

Jasper Grey • Wind Elemental • Trying to escape

"Jasper," he grunted, helping her with the lever. Creaking under their combined weight, it jolted forward and they tumbled out onto a grassy surface, sunlight blinding them momentarily. Taking a breath, he turned to face her, smiling at their escape. "Jasper Grey. It's nice to meet you, Nao," he said, looking around. Voices sounded from the opposite side of the craft, prompting Jasper to sit up, shaking his head slightly. "It sounds like there are others up front. We should go meet up, make sure everyone's okay." The world they had found themselves in was absolutely stunning, and for the first time since he had woken up in a metal death trap, Jasper felt that maybe it wasn't such a bad thing that they had crash landed. He could make do with all of this open space and no adults to boss him around.

Naomi

Naomi looked to the now named male beside her before the door gave out and she tumbled forward, squeaking on her way into the moss. Her eyes slowly adjusted to the light, making her eyes hurt a bit. A blue sky revealed itself above her and warmth of the sun made her shiver. She looked over to Jasper and smiled. "It's nice to meet you too. Even if my face is covered in blood." She said with a bit of a laugh before sitting up and looking at the view. It was absolutely gorgeous but she found herself too tired and her head in too much pain to react much. She stood and followed her newest and only friend, wiping at her face with the cloth that he had given her. The freckled girl looked at all the people, watching their excitement and their interactions. A wave of dizziness had hit her and she lost her balance for a moment. Using her powers had taken a lot out of her. She sat down and looked up at Jasper. "Where are we..? Is this where they meant to send us?" She asked him before looking away, a bit embarrassed. She probably looked like a disaster with blood all over her face and her hair out of order. Then again, no one else looked perfect either.

Evvie jumped in surprise when two more people came crashing out of the device, and immediately she moved over to them, letting the rest of the group revel in their good luck. After all, scientists weren't going to come anytime soon if the state of the device was anything to go by, so she was certain that she'd have time to admire the scenery another time. Right now, the most important thing was figuring out if everyone was okay and finding where exactly they were. Keeping this in mind, she approached the other two and questioned, "Hey, are you guys okay? Do you know if there's anyone left in the device?" while offering her hand incase either needed some help standing up. "I'm Evvie by the way. And you are...?"

Rhys took one more deep breath of air before turning back to the others, a wide smile settling on his face. His smile, however, quickly shifted to surprise when he saw one of his fellow subjects heal a cut on her arm using water that she pulled from the now dead grass. "so that's what you do," he murmured quietly, before casting a quick glance around at the rest of the group. He could see that two more figures had emerged from the craft, and smiled lightly when he saw the other girl head over to them, most likely to make sure that they weren't injured. As she did so, Rhys did a quick check himself to make sure that he had no cuts or bruises, which, luckily, he did not. "I'm all good," he responded to the water-elemental's question. "Oh, and my name's Rhys by the way. I'm a telekinetic, in case you wanted to know," he finished, hoping that giving his name and powers could help people relax around him.

Brie Thomas • Water Elemental • Talking to Rhys

Brie looked up, surprised. "Oh, I'm Brie, like the cheese. I do water stuff," she said, holding out her hand to the telekinetic. She had figured that the others in the cabin all had some sort of powers, and it was nice to know that this one was so open about it. It really made things lighter, especially if their best chance at survival was to stick together. "It's really pretty here," she added, looking up at the clear blue sky. "No rain, though. I do like rain." The wreckage was smoking slightly, the insides dark. She was sure she could remember at least two more people besides the six that had exited the craft, and hoped they were okay. She couldn't heal anything more than surface wounds; she still hadn't figured out the secret to broken bones.

Jasper Grey • Wind Elemental • Talking to Nao and Evvie

"Wherever we are, I don't think it's supposed to be here," Jasper answered Nao, furrowing his eyebrows. "Why would they send their best test subjects away?" Not that he had ever exactly been a good test subject. Jasper had never cooperated with the scientist's tests, frustrating them to no end. But it seemed that, at least for now, those days were over. Jasper turned his attention to the newcomer. "I'm Jasper, and this is Naomi. Do you know anything about what's going on?" Jasper pulled his attention away from the beauty of his surroundings. He could see a boy speaking to a girl a few yards away, and another boy marveling at the wonders of the landscape. Then there was him, Nao, and this new girl, Evvie. "I was sure I saw two more people in the capsule. But Nao and I were kind of trapped in the back, so I can't be certain," he said, in response to Evvie's question.

Naomi

The female nodded in agreement with Jasper before pulling her knees up to her chest and setting her chin on them. "But what if they had? I mean..Maybe this is a test for us? Maybe they have camera's all over this place and they're watching us.." she rambled on about her conspiracies until the other girl came close, at which time she had looked up and smiled at her. She watched the interaction between the two then stood up again and patted any dirt off of her bum. "I don't think we should stay here much longer. We're gonna need to make shelters and such...and the transporter doesn't seem too suitable for that." she spoke, looking around.

Eric

Eric lifted his head from his own thoughts and looked over to the group of three people and stood, heading over. He stuffed his hand into his pockets and looked at the faces of the other people, raising an eyebrow at the girl with blood on her face and her suggestion. "Shouldn't we search for usable stuff from the thing first? There could be important stuff in there..." he said, avoiding eye contact as he knew that he had barged into the conversation

Evvie nodded at Jasper when he introduced himself and Naomi, before responding to his question with a short laugh. "Sorry, but I know as much as you do. Suffice it to say, I have no idea where we are." Then when he mentioned others in the device, Evvie glanced over at the wreckage nervously, as she bit her lip, trying to figure out if the should go back in. However, her attention was diverted when Naomi spoke about moving, and Erik approached them about getting something from the wreckage. "I agree," Evvie responded. "It doesn't make sense for us to just stay here any longer is the scientists are, in fact, still monitoring us. We should get moving as soon as possible, but before we do, I think we need to get back into the ship. When we were being briefed, the scientists mentioned an emergency kit in the back, should anything go wrong. Which, obviously, something did. That kit could save our lives." She finished, glancing back at the wreckage. "And, if someone is still inside, we need to get them out."

Rhys chuckled lightly when Brie explained her name, and he listened patiently as she talked about the weather. At her mention of liking rain, he chuckled once again, murmuring, "I bet you do." However, he got an uneasy feeling from being separated from the rest of the group, and he tilted his head in their direction. "Think we should go join them and get a game plan going?" He questioned Brie.

But when she was 7 she burnt down her house and everyone in her family but her died. and that's when the scientists came for her. after the scientists grabbed her. she was locked up until then put her in that teleport device.

Looks, jack has short jagged jet black hair big silvery grey eyes pink heart shaped lips. she is small with a slight a pale skin that doesn't tan build. she has a scar that wraps around her arm from her shoulder and down to her wrist. and she wears a black jump suit and black combat boots.

Personality, she has a short temper and can be distant at times but she has likes to laugh even though she doesn't have much reason to laugh. she is kinda shy around new people but sometimes her temper or her curiosity over rule her shyness. And she loves to run it make her feel free and freedom is important to her. close spaces tend to make her a bit dizzy. but nothing can stop her from saving anyone important to her. the qualities she values the most are bravery, freedom, and loyalty.
