In your world, you were born different, with special powers many would kill for. You were taken at a young age from your family to be tested on like a lab rat. For years you suffered under the cruel hands of the scientists that kept you imprisoned in the institution. One day, you were told to participate in a group project of sorts. From what you understood, the scientists wanted to test their new teleportation device out on you, before weaponizing it for the military. However, when you, and a handful of other test subjects, were in with the device, the machine suddenly malfunctioned, transporting all of you to an amazing world, beyond your wildest dreams. Here, you took refuge in it's vast forests, growing closer and closer with your fellow test subjects. From here on out, it is up to you to use your amazing abilities to journey into this strange land, fight the dangers that lurk behind every corner, and go on an adventure. You'll see places and things that you never imagined possible, and for the first time in a long time, you'll live.

History- Rhys was the golden boy.
Always earned good grades,had amazing
friends, and a loving family. However, he
lost this all the day that his powers
started to manifest, and shortly after, he
was sent to the institution. When he first
got his powers, he was unable to control
them, and committed an act he knows
he'll never forgive himself for.
Personality- Rhys is a bit of a joker, but
he's always kind, and open with others.
He's been known to be very honest,
almost too honest at times. He also over
thinks almost everything.

History- Evvie never had much of a
family. Her father was a high ranking
general who never seemed to have
time for her, and her mother died
when she was very young. As such,
Ev became very self-dependent at
a very young age. However, when
her powers started to show, her father
immediately rejected her, and sent
her to the institution.
Personality- Ev is smart, but has a
sharp wit about her. She never gives up,
and can become passionate, almost
obsessive, in certain situations. She is
also loyal, but stubborn. She will always
defend what she believes in.

How You See Me:

Hello, my name is Naomi, But you can just call me Nao if you would like. I am seventeen years of age and currently unemployed. I am rather short. I have always had those lovely blue eyes, black hair and of course all of the freckles. I love to wear tights and have a vast collection. They go with everything. Braids are of course a favorite style to wear my hair but often i wear it down. Makeup is not a casual thing for me. I'm too lazy to put much on in the morning except for a bit of eyeliner and mascara. Maybe even lipstick if i'm feeling daring. If you can't accept my freckles, then get outta my face! I really love painting, music, cats, and climbing trees. Swimming is a for sure hobby of mine.

What The Hell Am I?:

Elemental powers. More for protection than to attack people. It only allows me to use it if i'm in danger. But i'm starting to learn how to use it for entertainment. You could say that it isnt really reliable but it has saved my little freckled butt a few times.

Love Life:

Psshh....No...I've never really been good with love. Sue, a crush here and there but never a real relationship. I'm way too awkward with guys. And I m only interested in guys, just for the record. Sorry, girls.

Names Eric. Call me Eric. I'm about six foot and I am nineteen years of age. My hair is light brown. So are my eyes which makes me pretty plain. I'm a plain person after all. Quiet actually. I like to keep myself freshly shaven and my hair well groomed and about medium length

What The Hell Am I?:

I think I'm normal. I think. But i'm really not. I can control animals. Manipulate their bodies and minds to my advantage. I've always kind of kept my talent to myself and have never been able to control humans or larger animals than a pony.

Love Life:

I had a pretty serious relationship a while ago but it never really went anywhere. She didn't think it was very serious. Haven't really been interested in anyone since. I'm pretty into girls.

Ashling is a Weapons Mage which means she is incredibly skilled at using at weapons. Her weapon of choice is a scythe she conceals as a dagger. These weapons are usually reinforced with magic and other symbols{ex: strength, efficiency, etc.}.
History-
Ashling was born in a normal town before she was kidnapped and taken to the lab. She was trained to use all sorts of weapons there. She became especially close to one of the lab workers who actually cared for her.
Personality-
Ashling is smart, cunning, and quick on her feet. Although these are pretty good characteristics she has a darker side. She has a short temper and can "snap" easily. Patience is one of strong suits in terms of waiting to make a kill, but she can't stand to be around people she thinks are of a "lesser intelligence" as she calls them. In these situations she can become angry very quickly, and is quick to draw out her weapon.

Ash has long, dead straight, black hair, that falls to just above her waist. Her skin is slightly on the fair thanks to her European background. History-
Akio was taken to the lab at age 7 and pretty much grew up there with little connection to anyone but is sister, Ash. He is incredibly close with her, and they go practically everywhere with each other.
Personality-
He is upbeat and loves to be around others despite everything that has happened to him, almost the exact opposite of his twin, Ash. He tends to accept everyone for who they are. He can't sit still, and prefers to always be doing something.

He has jet black hair that tends to fall over his eyes a lot, so he is constantly brushing out of his eyes. The only difference between his sister and him is his height{5'10"} and his eyes which are ice blue instead of gold.

Brie wasn't always a social outcast. She grew up in Pennsylvania, with a loving family and three younger siblings. She went to public school until she was seven, and switched to homeschool after she progressed too fast for the curriculum. As her powers began to appear, everyone drew away from her. She wanted friends, and she wanted her old life back, but the unpredictability of her powers caused everyone to fear her. She shut herself in her room, scared of herself and of what her family might do to her. She was finally sent to the institution at the age of seventeen, where she was treated like a caged animal. She hated it, and grew distant from everyone who tried to reach out to her, secretly mourning the loss of her once-happy life.

Brie is as bubbly as her abilities. She has always liked people, even if she's not very good at talking to them. She's nerdy and awkward, preferring to talk about science and the abnormalities of the world. She is constantly performing studies on herself to find the origin of her powers, and outsmarting anything that attacks her. She is fun to have as a friend, if a little eccentric, but hasn't ever formed any solid relationships since her shipment to the institution.

Brie can control and manipulate water. She can freeze or melt it, and bend it into any shape she wishes. She uses that to her advantage in a fight, and has found many creative ways to make do with what she has. She never wanted abilities, but now that she has them, she has chosen to embrace them and make the best of the situation. She has also figured out how to heal others with her powers and breath under water. She wears a black jumpsuit.

♕ History -
Jasper was never the 'good' kid. His grades averaged a C, and he preferred to play video games or hang out with friends than to work. He always felt like his parents were disappointed in him, and he always let them down. After his powers appeared, he felt even worse about what he was doing to his parents. He tried to hide them at first, and became the model student. He studied, showed up to class, but his parents didn't buy it. They were on the verge of divorce, and didn't have time for their son. One day, he let his powers free, and their disappointment turned to fear, the exact opposite of what Jasper wanted. They sent him to the institution, where he is now conflicted and without friends.

♕ Personality -
Jasper was always lighthearted and fun, but he preferred more action to thought. He is flirtatious and funny, but since his parents betrayed him, he has become more closed off. He's not great at making friends, but he is a loyal person, and will always have your back in a fight. He hasn't been in any serious relationships, and probably wouldn't make a very good boyfriend at the moment. Many girls have tried because of his cute appearance, but he is pretty much just a cute dork.

♕ Powers/Skills -
Jasper can manipulate currents in the air. He can create strong winds or stop a gale. He can use these currents to hover, but he doesn't really know how to fly, and mostly just moves things around with the breezes he creates. Given a glider, or some other sort of stabilizer, he may be able to stay up in the air for longer, but nothing close to true flight. He is also very agile and quick with a knife. He wears an ash grey jumpsuit.

[We can start now! Sorry it's a lot to read, it's mostly just a description of the crash!]

Evvie was parched. Well, no wasn't quite right. Being parched would imply being thirsty, but from what she could tell, the burning in her throat was more than simply being thirsty. And, now that she thought around it, it wasn't just her throat that was burning. Her eyes were stinging like mad, she had a throbbing headache, and there was something wet running down her face. With a choked gasp Evvie's eyes snapped open as it all came flooding back to her. The scientists had been running another one of their experiments, putting her and other test subjects into a strange sort of pod. After they had been strapped in, the scientists had given a brief safety explanation then closed the doors of the device, locking Evvie and all the other subjects inside. After a couple of seconds, Evvie had heard the hum of the machine as it turned on, and for a moment, all seemed to be going well. But all to quickly, the hum had turned into a roar, and outside the device Evvie could hear the scientist's loud and confused shouting. The roar soon blocked out all of the outside voices, but before Evvie could have reacted a blinding light had seared through the main compartment of the device forcing her to close her eyes. Even with her eyes screwed shut, Evvie could still feel the tilting of the device as it did a barrel roll, flipping all the test subjects upside-down. Immediately, she was grateful for the body harness that kept her, and her fellow subjects, in place as the device hurtled through the air. She had had the distinct feeling of falling, and for a second, her life had flashed before her eyes. With nothing left to do but sit tight, she had grit her teeth and prayed that it would all be over soon. From there, all she could remember was slowing slightly, before feeling a gut wrenching lurch, and hearing the crunch on metal. Now as she opened her eyes, she felt her mouth open in shock as she took in the scene before her. From what she could tell, she was hanging upside-down in the wreckage of what had been the device. Smoke was billowing from the floor, er, the ceiling, making it impossible to see any of the other test subjects, and wires hung down next to her feet shooting sparks into the air. Desperate to get out, Evvie twisted in her seat, her fingers fumbling to undo the buckle of the safety harness that held her in place. With a metalic click, the belt released her, and with a gasp, she crashed onto the ground. Smoke stung her eyes and burned her throat, and she desperately crawled to the door of the wreckage,ducking low to avoid hanging wires and broken pipes. As she saw the door to the device, her heart plummeted. It was jammed, and still locked shut. Desperately she slammed on it with her fists trying to force it open.

Rhys jolted awake, his eyes searching in the darkness. From what he could tell, and from what he could remember, the device had malfunctioned after all the test subjects had entered. Though he hadn't recognized any of them, he would have given anything to see them, and know that he wasn't the only one left. The fall had left him shaken, and he raised a dazed hand to his face, seaching for injuries. Luckily, there didn't seem to be anything broken or missing, so he counted that as a win. Trying to figure out what way he was facing, he spit into the air and watched as it flew past his face and onto the ceiling. So we're upside down, Rhys reasoned. Just as he was about to check on his legs and make sure that nothing had been broken, a loud banging startled him out of his thoughts. It seemed to be coming from the direction of the door, and anxious to find out what it was, Rhys released himself from the harness that held him in place and came crashing to the ground with a groan. He rolled onto his knees and started to grope forward, keeping one hand over his mouth to avoid inhaling too much smoke. A shower of sparks went off right next to his head, making him pick up the pace, and hurry over to the door. Once there he saw one of the other subjects banging on the obviously broken door in an attempt to get out. Quickly he moved to her side, and though she seemed initially startled, it only took a second for her to recognize him. "Where are we?" Rhys managed to choke out, before his speech dissolved into coughing.

An excruciatingly bright light pierced through the once dark cabin accompanied by s few screams and a sudden dropping feeling. Naomi's stomach lurched and she gritted her teeth, screaming through them. 'Please help! Come on I don't ask for much. Protect me this one time!' She yelled in her mind as she pinched her eyes shut and gripped her harness tightly. The shuttle gradually began to slow down before it crashed into the ground. Pain shot through the girls head and she cried out slightly, tearing up. It had worked. She slowed it. She didn't stop it but she slowed it. She opened her eyes again to view the sparking cords and smoke filling the cabin. She had been sitting at the back and was cut off from the front by the wires. There was no way to crawl under them but she could hear others banging on the door. She released herself from the harness, wincing as she hit the floor, or roof, with a thud. She raised her hand to her face, feeling wetness above her lip. Her nose had started bleeding. She frowned and groaned a bit before yelling for help.


Eric

After the crash, Eric had released himself from the harness and dropped to the floor. He was breathing heavily and trying to contain an oncoming panic attack. He crawled forward, avoiding the wires and heading to where the banging noise was coming from. "What happened???" He said to the other people, trying to see their faces through the smoke.
