Ok guys, so I've recived several suggestions to make a new lineart for the GoS but I wanted to ask you guys first -
would you rather like to keep the current lines or would you like new ones?

I've already sketched possible new lines though its not said yet that these will be the new ones (As I am not that happy with them anyways) if there are going to be new ones.

I like the lines we have since they make a good reference for the designs.

I do like the sketch to though so maybe gift lines or some sort of special edition lines. You could also put another sketch on the other side of the page facing the other way with more or less the same pose just with the tail going up instead of down so they both fit, then you could show off both sides of a design. Maybe for really special designs that are very different on each side or something so you could see the left and right sides of the GoS.

i too like the ones we have now ^^
but i like your designs too soph, i like your style of drawing =) it looks very cute and smooth
on the other hand, if you make it like teeze suggested the work of the artist would be doubled, because we would draw not 1 but 2 horses and the artists (me included i now very well...) need a long time till they draw a GoS, i fear that they would draw lesser if they need to draw 2 designs then just one

Teeze definitely has a point there.

I personally love both the old lines and the potential new lines ( Your drawing style is just too good. |D) but aren't the new ones just a little bit squished to the side? The old lines are more round and filled out, making them really good for signatures since there's no trimming required.

Another thing I'm a bit worried about is the transferring of designs... There are so many GoSs already, and some designs are harder to transfer than the others. Of course, it's not necessary to transfer everything since people might be Ok with the old lines, but what if someone wants to transfer special/massively edited GoSs? Wouldn't it be slightly hectic for the artists?

Just some questions and opinions on my part. Cx
